Show notes
Nonstop trades and surprise picks electrified the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft, shaking up expected draft boards and setting the stage for a memorable season. Matt Williamson and his co-host break down the wild night, highlighting the offensive line run, shocking trades involving the Chiefs, Cowboys, and Eagles, and the ripple effect on teams like the Steelers, Giants, and Cardinals. Was the Chiefs’ aggressive move for Mansoor Delane justified, or did they give up too much? Did Arizona’s choice of Jeremiyah Love over critical positions set them back for years?
The episode spotlights top rookie prospects like Ty Simpson, Reuben Bain, Carnell Tate, and discusses key NFL teams’ strategies, including how the Jets’ acquisition of Omar Cooper could impact their offense. The hosts weigh in on best and worst draft picks, from surprise steals to questionable selections, raising the question: Who truly won round one, and which decisions could change the trajectory of the 2026 NFL season?
