    Oct. 7 Didn't End. The Survivors Still Can't Go Back to Work | 10/7/26 Oct 07, 2026
    Show notes

Oct. 7 didn't end. The survivors still can't go back to work. Three years after Hamas murdered and kidnapped civilians at the Nova music festival and in places like Kibbutz Be'eri, the New York Post checked on the people who lived. Recovery is not what they found. Nova survivor Rom El-Hai, 32, hid in a forest while gunfire passed. He came out without his job, his girlfriend, or his friends, and he says the PTSD and depression are still intense. People tell survivors that making it out means life snaps back. It did not. Photographer Shye Klein still cannot shoot events. A DJ stopping the music sends his heart racing, because that silence is what he heard when the killing started. UJA Federation of New York CEO Eric Goldstein says only 20% of Nova survivors have kept continuous work for more than three months. A large number are out of work. Some are homeless, living in cars, with no financial support. Former hostage Evyatar David, held 738 days, separated the two fights: surviving captivity is one thing and full rehabilitation is another. Tribe of Nova CEO Seth Davis says the anxiety runs deeper now than a year ago, because the outside world already moved on. Klein's line should stick: It is never going to go back to normal, for anybody.

12 B-1 Bombers Left Britain over an Iranian Drone Plot | 10/6/26 Oct 06, 2026
    Show notes

Twelve American B-1 bombers did not leave a British base by accident. The Wall Street Journal and the New York Times report that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps was behind a complex, multipronged plan to destroy U.S. aircraft and kill American service members at RAF Fairford, about 90 miles west of London. All 12 bombers went back to their home stations in the United States over the weekend. Some officials say the plot looked loosely like Ukraine’s Operation Spider Web, the truck-launched drone strikes on Russian bomber bases. This was not a strike that already happened. It was intelligence serious enough that the planes left. That pullout came days after British police stopped an alleged terror plot near the same airfield. Five British nationals were arrested over a suspected van bomb attack; a sixth man, a U.K.-Iranian national, was later arrested. All were released on bail. Prime Minister Andy Burnham said there were strong indications the Iranian government had a hand in that earlier plot. Vice President JD Vance said the bombers were moved out of an abundance of caution and that Iran is still doing what it has done for 49 years: terrorism against the United States and a lot of other people. President Trump told reporters there were some threats, the jets did not fly out by accident, and he was not going to leave them sitting there. If Iran can push American bombers off an allied base without firing a shot, the next question is what else they think they can reach. Were the bombers right to leave, yes or no? If this base was a target, should U.S. aircraft still be parked on British soil at all?

    Alito, 76, Thought About Retiring This Year. He'll Look Again in 2027 | 10/5/26 Oct 05, 2026
    Show notes

Justice Samuel Alito just told CBS he is considering retirement. Alito is 76, the second-oldest justice on the bench. He said he thought about retiring this year and decided to stay, because he still believes he can make a valuable contribution. He also said somebody his age has to think about it every term, and he will look at it again in 2027. That is not a resignation. It is a clock. If he leaves while President Trump is still in office, Trump gets a shot at a fourth Supreme Court justice. His first three already moved the Court to the right. Trump has also said he regrets several nominees who ruled against his administration. Confirmation is the other half of the math. Republicans hold the Senate and the White House right now. The midterms are weeks away. If Democrats take the Senate, a fourth Trump pick gets a much harder path. Alito is not playing that chess game in public. He told CBS it is too hard to predict the political situation or what any president might do with a replacement. On Fox, he called the retirement talk vultures circling. He also defended Dobbs, the decision that overturned Roe, said the leaked draft took courage, and said he lost old friendships over it. Country crowd, 73,000 people, and that shirt. Why. Should Alito have stayed on this term, yes or no? If he does step down in 2027, do you trust Trump's next Supreme Court pick more than the last three? They're Drilling the Boat Shape Near Ararat. Geologists Called It a Ridge | 10/2/26 Oct 02, 2026
    Show notes

Core drilling just started on the boat-shaped ridge in eastern Turkey that some people have called Noah’s Ark since a Turkish Army captain spotted it from the air in 1959. The Durupinar formation sits in the Tendurek Mountains near Mount Ararat, about 164 meters long — close to the 300-cubit length in Genesis. Modern geologists have treated it for decades as limestone and volcanic clay carved by erosion. David Fasold measured it in the 1980s, called it a fossilized deck, then later dismissed the ark theory himself. Now a Sivas Cumhuriyet University team, with Turkish government approval, has run the first real core drill into it. Andrew Jones says the biggest early finding is that the formation is soil, not a solid rock mass worn into a ship shape. Radar work has picked up right angles, possible tunnels, and voids a few meters down. Earlier soil tests found about three times more organic matter inside the outline than on the hillside next to it. The samples are headed to labs in Ankara. A full report is not expected until 2027. The fundraising side did not wait. Lauren Witzke, handling marketing for the Noah’s Ark Scans effort, has already said university curricula will need to be rewritten and Darwinism dismantled — while an underground robot, adapted from a machine built to explore wombat burrows, is still collecting footage. That is the gap worth watching: a real dig at a formation science wrote off and a press line that already knows the ending.

    • Jim Justice says ICE got “carried away” dragging 15-year neighbors, then says he backs Trump “full stop,” and the press twisted his words.

FlyDubai Co-Pilot Stabbed the Captain and Tried to Crash a Plane Full of Israelis | 10/1/26 Oct 01, 2026
    Show notes

A FlyDubai jet full of Israelis was supposed to land in Tel Aviv. The co-pilot stabbed the captain instead. The plane plunged thousands of feet. Passengers had to break into the cockpit to stop it. Wednesday morning, FlyDubai flight FZ1073 left Dubai for Tel Aviv with about 174 people on board, most of them Israelis. At cruise altitude, near 34,000 feet, the co-pilot stabbed Captain Smit Machchhar. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the attacker apparently tried to crash the plane with the passengers on board. The Boeing 737 dropped thousands of feet — some flight data put the fall around 17,000 to 18,000 feet — sent a 7700 emergency squawk, and turned for Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. Israeli fighter jets were scrambled. Airspace was briefly closed. A man trusted with the controls of a commercial flight to Israel allegedly used that access to try to kill the people in the back.

They Admitted She Did It for Insanity. Now They Want Proof | 9/30/26 Sep 30, 2026
    Show notes

Lindsay Clancy’s lawyer just stood in a Plymouth courtroom and asked the judge where the evidence is that she killed her three children. Cora was 5. Dawson was 3. Callan was 8 months. In January 2023 their father, Patrick Clancy, came home from errands and found them on the basement floor with exercise bands around their necks. Lindsay Clancy was in the yard after jumping from a second-floor window. She was charged with three counts of first-degree murder. At trial the defense was not criminally responsible — postpartum psychosis, a voice telling her to kill the children and herself — because the judge would not split guilt from insanity. Kevin Reddington said it himself: they had to admit culpability to raise criminal responsibility. A six-week trial ended September 4 in a mistrial after the jury hung. On September 29 he flipped. “Where is the evidence that she did this?” No real investigation, he said. Speculation. She was told what happened. She had no memory. Prosecutor Shanan Buckingham called that laughable and reminded the court that at trial the defense objected on the grounds that she admits she did this. Judge William Sullivan was not ready to rule. Both sides said it was too soon to set a second trial. Next date is November 2. Reddington says his caseload means he cannot try it before June 2027. Three kids. A hung jury. A new theory. And a calendar that runs into the summer after next.

    • President Trump and the SI bosses agreed to internal controls on cyber and bio risk.
    • The resignation question is running ahead of the facts. Trump's plan this month is a 32-day midterm tour, not an exit.

Did the “no evidence” line survive five minutes of what the husband walked in on? Yes or no. If you were Patrick Clancy, what would you want the court to do with a lawyer who is booked until June 2027?

    AOC Says ICE Isn't Cops. It's Palantir, and It's After You | 9/29/26 Sep 29, 2026
    Show notes

AOC stood in front of a packed New York hall and told the room ICE is Palantir, ICE is AI, ICE is facial recognition, ICE is surveillance, and ICE is coming after you regardless of your status. This was not a gaffe. At a Students vs. Billionaires town hall in Ithaca, in front of more than 1,000 people, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez called for abolishing ICE and framed the agency as a post-9/11 surveillance-state shop tied to private contractors, not ordinary law enforcement. She named Palantir. She brought up facial recognition. She said ICE is going after every man, woman, and child because detention company CEOs have profits to post at the end of the quarter. Then she aimed it at the crowd: coming after you, status or not. That is the Democrats' save-immigration push heading into the midterms. Not a fight about the border. A scare pitch that turns immigration enforcement into a dragnet aimed at citizens, so that the people who actually entered illegally drop out of the story. "Regardless of your status" is the tell. If the agency is coming after everyone, then enforcing the law stops being law enforcement and starts sounding like a conspiracy. Pat walks through the quote, who she was talking to, and what that framing is built to do before November.

    Pat also covered:

    • Talarico turns a miracle into a public option: Jesus healed the sick and never billed a deductible, so free health care is Scripture.
    • Bush’s architect now says mass deportation went too far: Stick to the criminals, leave the Home Depot alone.

    • YouTube and Meta will sell ads for the Oct. 9 Musk documentary after first refusing the trailer. X, which Musk owns, still will not.
    • Pugh left a Doomsday production clash for Brian Eno’s Together for Palestine concert, which raised more than $2 million.

Is AOC warning citizens, or covering for a voter bloc ICE is actually tasked with finding? Have you watched immigration enforcement get rebranded as surveillance in your own town?

A Smart Stunt Doesn’t Change How Talarico Talks About Christian Texas | 9/28/26 Sep 28, 2026
    Show notes

James Talarico just posted a slick little video: He "dialed" Ken Paxton’s cell and invited him to a Fox News debate. Paxton didn’t pick up. The clip took off. Fair enough — it’s good campaign theater. It does not reset the record on how Talarico talks about Christianity and Christian Texas. He’s a Presbyterian seminarian running for U.S. Senate, and for years, he has drawn a hard line between his faith and the faith of the people who actually fill Texas pews. He has called Christian nationalism heretical, unbiblical, a cancer, and a betrayal of Jesus. He has described himself as a Christian who hates Christianity. On the Texas House floor in 2021 he told colleagues “God is nonbinary” while fighting a girls’ sports bill. He has used Gabriel's and Mary’s “consent” as a theological case for abortion. He has said God is not a Christian.

    • Tucker just called on Trump’s own Cabinet to 25th-Amendment him over Iran — not impeach him. Remove him.
    • Stanford got caught using AI to swap a Hispanic student out of a promo photo and drop a fake black student onto campus banners.
    • Pat went to a Savannah Bananas game. The most “fun” team in America. His review: “tedious.”
    • Bret Baier sits down with Iran’s president. Pezeshkian says Iran doesn't want a nuclear bomb. “Not at all.”
    • Birth tourism is still minting U.S. citizens on a tourist visa. When does that end?

Does a viral debate stunt change what you believe about a candidate’s theology? When a politician says “Christian nationalism,” do you hear a real heresy — or a label for Christians who will not fold on life, sex, and school?

488,000 Fentanyl Deaths. Xi Got an Eagle and a Ballroom Tour | 9/25/26 Sep 25, 2026
    Show notes

Trump just hosted Xi Jinping at the White House like it was a friendship tour. Bald eagle sculpture at dinner. Invitation to walk the unfinished ballroom. Granite helipad. Marine One. Fighter jets and a B-2 overhead. A photo of the two of them already hanging in the West Wing. This is the first White House meeting between the two men. Trump greeted Xi at Andrews, showed him the renovations, cracked the Biden autopen bit, and talked “mutual respect.” Xi talked market access for Chinese cars and “partnership” on advanced AI chips. Two pandas are headed to Atlanta. Tech names were on the dinner list. What you did not get was a public answer on the fentanyl pipeline that has killed about 488,000 Americans in a decade, on Taiwan, or on imprisoned publisher Jimmy Lai. If this is “America First” diplomacy, you should be able to see the trade. If it’s just the show, you should be able to say that too.

Does a state dinner with an eagle gift count as leverage — or as a photo the Chinese will use at home? Have we seen this movie before: pomp first, fentanyl and chips later?

Talarico’s Pastor Says Evangelicals Aren’t Smart and Trump Is Like Hitler | 9/24/26 Sep 24, 2026
    Show notes

James Talarico wants Texas evangelicals to treat him like a brother in the faith. His own pastor just told a hidden camera they are “not that smart.” Blaze News obtained footage of Rev. Jim Rigby — the Austin Presbyterian who Talarico has called one of the biggest influences on him “as a Christian, as a human being,” and “my pastor in every sense of the word.” Asked what’s wrong with evangelical Christians, Rigby guessed they lack abstract thinking. He said they panic when “liberal stuff” and human rights are put in front of them. Then he went further: “What Hitler did and what Trump is doing is play off of that.” He waved off hell, angels, and demons as the kind of belief that keeps people from staying rational. Talarico has fought to keep the Bible out of Texas classrooms, used Scripture to defend abortion, voted against protecting kids from sex-rejection surgeries, and once described himself as “a Christian who hates Christianity.” If the man shaping Talarico’s theology thinks Bible-believing Texans are dull and ripe for a strongman, that is not a side note in a Senate race. That is the worldview.

    • A three-time Trump voter calls in ready to vote Democrat and “burn it all down.”
    • Marco Rubio defends rolling out the carpet for Xi after the invite takes fire.

Does a candidate get to run as a Christian while his pastor talks about evangelicals like that? Have you ever sat under a preacher who sounded more embarrassed by the supernatural than by calling voters stupid?
