The pastors' wives chat with their friend Chevas Phillips, a dynamic worship leader, wife, and mother. Chevas shares her unique testimony of redemption. She was once a wild child, unwilling to be tamed by anyone, a strong, independent woman by nature… but she didn’t know Jesus. Through her husband’s salvation after they were married and his consistent prayers and patience with her stubbornness, she eventually found Christ, and nothing has been the same since. Instead of spending her Saturday nights entertaining patrons in the bar through music, she leads her church in worship to Jesus on Sundays. Chevas reminds us that even messy, ugly pasts can be redeemed… and that even when we don’t fit in with the churchy women surrounding us, God still loves to use us!
