On this episode, Jimmy sits down with longtime friend Laura Somerset to continue our series, God Will Provide. Laura shares how she came to Baylor as a first-generation believer carrying a lot of fear. Learning to trust God with her finances taught her she could trust Him with the deeper things of her heart. She talks about becoming a single mom to her daughter, Alyssa, and how her Lifegroup and church family stepped in to help provide her needs. Laura tells the story of a Giving Sunday in 2010, when she walked out of church with over $10,000 in cash and checks stuffed into an empty tissue box. That money sat in savings until she opened her bakery storefront in 2013. She shares about her “year of jubilee,” which brought a car, child support and a full-tuition scholarship for her daughter to finish school at Baylor. Laura Somerset is the owner of a bakery in Waco, Texas.

In this episode, Tito and Jackie Serrato share their testimony of paying off more than $196,000 of debt, learning to trust God with their finances and experiencing His faithfulness in providing everything they needed to become fully debt free. They talk about their backgrounds and how each of them grew up viewing money, how they merged those perspectives when they got married and how God helped them build a biblical foundation for managing money. They share how they aggressively paid off thousands of dollars of debt while staying committed to generous giving, forging a deep trust in God and an eternal perspective of investing in the kingdom of God.

Will God Provide? Learning to Live With Open Hands Oct 09, 2026

In this episode, Jimmy shares how trusting God with money became one of the most powerful parts of starting a ministry and a family. He tells stories of learning to trust God with little and with much, and of seeing Him do miracles when he and Laura lived with open hands and prayed for Him to show up. What is Grace? Top Questions Answered Oct 02, 2026

Join us for a short series called Overwhelming Grace, where we sit down with friends to hear their stories of encountering God's grace.

On this final episode on our grace series, Jimmy Seibert sits down with Jackie and Fadi to ask the most common questions about the grace of God. In a rapid-fire round, Jimmy shares how he defines grace and his top 10 Scriptures on grace. He also shares testimonies from his local church: people finding freedom from anxiety and panic attacks, marriages restored, and someone giving their life to Jesus before they even made it into a Sunday service.

Jimmy shares about his 18-month long battle with depression and how it shifted how he thinks about living out of a foundation of grace. He talks about how grace gives us power over sin and not just forgiveness for it, and why there's grace to do what God has called us to, even when it takes extra effort.

Can Grace Really Redeem Abuse & Addiction? Overwhelming Grace Stories with Kyle VanHecke Sep 04, 2026

On this episode, Kyle Van Hecke shares about growing up in a broken, addiction-marked home in St. Louis, Missouri, with a father whose rages ended in police called to the house and years spent surrounded by drugs and alcohol. He talks about hitting his lowest point his senior year of high school while living alone in an apartment, stealing for the adrenaline and drinking just to feel something. Kyle shares about how he got to Baylor University and, eventually, to church and where he’d start to encounter God and experience freedom. He talks through pursuing his now-wife, Abby, and the hard, humbling first year of marriage spent learning to communicate while serving in Air Force intelligence. Kyle also breaks down what he calls the grace of God showing up before he ever asked for it, and why tracing that grace backward through your own story can be the first step toward believing you truly belong in God's family. Experiencing Grace | Jimmy & Laura Seibert Aug 28, 2026

After six months away, Laura and I are so GRATEFUL to be back with our Antioch Waco family to share reflections from our sabbatical.

Laura is able to open up about entering the season exhausted in body and soul and how God led her into a wilderness season of rest, counseling and healing, teaching her to move from grit to grace.

I share three pictures of grace God gave me during the sabbatical, drawn from Ephesians 1, Hebrews 4 and Psalm 16, each pointing to the Trinity's nearness and care.

This message covers themes of rest, sabbatical, trusting God, healing and the presence of the Holy Spirit and closes with a call to respond to grace individually and as a church family.

Stories of Overwhelming Grace with Austin Murray Aug 21, 2026

Join us for a short series called Overwhelming Grace, where we sit down with friends to hear their stories of encountering God's grace. On this episode, Austin Murray opens up about growing up in Waco, Texas with divorced parents and a chaotic childhood that spiraled into alcohol and drug use as a teenager. He talks about hitting rock bottom on a senior trip, feeling completely empty afterward, and choosing to cut himself off from friends to find his way back to God. Austin shares the story of meeting his future wife, Jordanna, and how one prayer night changed everything for him when He experienced God's grace in such a powerful, tangible way that his desire for addiction and shame broke overnight.

He talks through turning down big job offers to stay obedient to ministry, grinding through unglamorous years as a young campus pastor, and more recently, processing the loss of his mother. Austin also breaks down the real difference between grace and tolerating sin, and why that distinction matters for anyone trying to walk in freedom instead of settling for comfort.
