A Message As Big As The World Aug 08, 2018

Show notes

Pastor Louie Giglio // "You are not free floating and arbitrary but you are designed and destined by God."
—
We have a big purpose in life and no circumstance can thwart that! When our purpose is as big as wanting the world to know about Jesus...no cancer can stop that. Death can't stop that. No circumstance can stop that! Each of those things simply becomes a megaphone for helping us tell the story of Jesus to the world.

Flip the Script Jul 30, 2018

Show notes

Pastor Louie Giglio // All of us are going to face difficulties. Situations that will push their way into our life + our dreams, disrupting our perfectly crafted plans. But here’s the truth. Come what may, we flip the script on those difficulties when we decide that everything can be used for the Glory of God, including our pain. It’s our scars that amplify our story of salvation.

All In Jul 24, 2018

Show notes

Pastor Louie Giglio // "The unfinished work of the Church is to make sure everyone on Earth hears about the finished work of Jesus."
—
We are, by nature, consumers, not creators. Just look at the Pareto Principle; 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes. This means that even in the Church today, 80% of the work, 80% of the buy-in, 80% of the effort, is contributed by 20% of the people. This is not how the Church is supposed to function.
—
It's time for us to move towards the Pneuma Principle, where 100% of the people who embrace the Messiah contribute to the working of the Holy Spirit. This takes all of us doing our part, all of us pulling our weight, all of us leaning All In.

We are Making a Place for You Jul 17, 2018

Show notes

Pastor Louie Giglio // Jesus is the ultimate place-maker. Through Him everything around us was created, and by His sacrifice, a place for us was made in His Father’s House.
—
As followers of Jesus, we are called to be place-makers in our own right. To set the table for the people of our city to sit at and experience all God has for them. This is how we step into a broken and wandering world, with open hands and a place made ready; but in order to do that, we will need to be willing to go above and beyond where we’ve ever been before.

The Seismic Shift Jul 09, 2018

Show notes

When the Holy Spirit arrived in Acts 2, there was a seismic shift in the climate of the city. In our new series, POWER-FULL, Pastor Louie Giglio encourages us around what this could mean for our cities if we are open to being filled with the Holy Spirit.
—
Our cities are full of people searching for what is real, what will last, where they fit into the story that's unfolding around them. As Christians, we have been called into the ministry of reconciliation, being filled with the Holy Spirit and playing our part in the coming to life of the people in our neighborhoods, cities, and world.

This is how we fight Jun 26, 2018

Show notes

Pastor Louie Giglio // “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7 — We want to be men who contend for what matters most. However, most of us realize that we aren’t going to fulfill our God-designed destiny alone. That’s why we are inviting every man to join a Fight Club, a group of 3-5 men who meet together on a consistent basis to spur one another on as we fight in four arenas: 1. We want to fight for our walk with God. 2. We want to fight for our heart and character. 3. We want to fight for our family (and future family). 4. We want to fight for our brother. Afterall, scripture teaches that we have a spiritual Enemy who is warring against us in each of these arenas, and we are confident that a Fight Club is our best defense in the battle. — If you are interested in joining a FIGHT CLUB, visit https://passioncitychurch.com/fightclub/

A House United Jun 21, 2018

Show notes

Pastor Ben Stuart // The spirit of God is all about unity. In Ephesians Chapter 4, we are called to bear with one another in love. When we love each other, we love God. This is the heart of unity. — In a culture with increasing individuality, we may start to think that unity means uniformity, but this is not the case. In this week’s message, Pastor Ben Stuart explains how unity and diversity go hand in hand. When we link arms with those who are different than us, we’re stepping into a greater God-story.

A Perfect Father Jun 19, 2018

Show notes

Pastor Louie Giglio // “Your primary identity, men, is as a loved son living from approval, not as an unloved son living for approval.” — In this Fathers Day message, Pastor Louie Giglio reminds all of us that before we do anything for God, we have to know who we are in God; learning to be a BE an imitator of a God, walking in love and living a life of love knowing how much He gave himself as a sacrifice.

The Necessity of Being Settled Down & Filled Up Jun 13, 2018

Show notes

Pastor Ben Stuart // The people that are making the greatest difference in the world are the ones that have had a difference made inside of them. — Sometimes life gets hard. What’s left to catch us when the bottom falls out from under us? This week, Pastor Ben Stuart talks about the importance of letting Jesus dwell in all areas of our lives. — When Christ is able to enter all areas of our heart, we become rooted and grounded in love. It is here that our lives begin to look different. Sometimes the best change doesn’t come from a change in circumstances, but a change in perspective.
