    It's the final week before voting closes - Our Party People look at Māori candidates who aren't standing in the seven Māori seats, there are a range of clever and competent Māori candidates running across the country, but who is most likely to end up with the voters' endorsement and a ticket to Pōneke?

    It's the final week before voting closes - as politicians make their push to the finish line what will their priorities be? What messages are resonating with voters? Our Party People have a hundred years of political experience between them, and they share some of their predictions and reflections.

    Te Tai Tonga is Aotearoa's biggest electorate, it spans several islands, Te Wai Pounamu, Rēkohu and Wharekauri, with a side order of Wellington and a chunk of Lower Hutt.

    There ain't no party like a Kawerau garage party, Shane Te Pou joins Mihi Forbes and, adding a bit of spice to the boil up, the Honorable Tau Henare, to discuss election debate season. Just like feijoa season, there's so many around, you could be getting sick of them or in your own personal political heaven. Our party people discuss who is doing well, who is stumbling in the home straight?

    Also, Te Tūru o te Wiki, Aotearoa's biggest electorate, Te Tai Tonga, it spans several islands, Te Wai Pounamu as well as Rekohu and Wharekauri, with a side order of Wellington and a chunk of Lower Hutt as well. Someone from the Tirikatene whānau has held Te Tai Tonga, even in its earlier incarnation of Southern Māori, for 70 of the past 85 years. Can anyone roll Rino?
