Club Q Shooter Comes Out As Non - Binary Nov 23, 2022

Show notes

Anderson Aldrich allegedly walked into Club Q in Colorado Springs and opened fire, killing five and injuring 19 others. Without any detailed information, journalists and activists immediately accused "MAGA" Republicans of inspiring the killings and cited pro-gun advocates and people opposed to drag queen performances for children as the culprits. Club Q had been scheduled to host an "All Ages" Drag Brunch on Sunday, leading some to suggest that the suspect was seeking to disrupt the event. As it turns out, however, Aldrich is a part of the LGBT community and identifies as "Non-Binary" according to court documents filed by his lawyers.

We discuss whether this kind of advertising is exploitive to children or the new norm. As parents, where do we draw the line on our kids being exploited in movies and ads. Judge Loretta Preska ruled on Friday to disclose the identities of a number of previously anonymous individuals in documents filed by Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre. While a timeline for the release of the documents and names has not been set, Preska identified some of the Epstein-linked individuals during the hearing.
