Eggsplorations

Eggsplorations is a podcast from Fried Egg Golf that takes you with the team on their golf travels. Each season will focus around a singular golf trip, with episodes ranging in length and subject matter based on what glory or misfortunate may be found that day on the road. Discussions will range from golf course design deep dives and impressions on a top-rated blue chipper or hidden gem played that day, to a short 15-minute episode on a great social or bar scene hit along the way, to some clerical mistake Andy might have made that has the group up a creek. Episodes are recorded in real time while Fried Egg Golf team members are on the road, serving as a sort of audio travelogue. All members of the team will join at various times offering impressions and expertise, and local guests will also be rotated into the experience. So subscribe for Season One as we head to Northern Ireland.

BandWagon

What makes BANDWAGON different from other band-related podcasts?
Rather than focusing only on music education topics, it’s meant for anybody who ever did band.
And in a world where not everybody “gets” band, it can be a challenge for people who do.
With news, commentary, and advocacy from the band world (concert and marching; scholastic, community, and service bands), and entertaining conversations with band leaders and participants alike …
this podcast aims to create community through band: to be a resource and a refuge for band geeks.

Focus: We Keep Us Safe

New Season “We Keep Us Safe” starting September 21, 2026.

In the summer of 2020, sixteen-year-old Antonio Mays Jr. traveled a thousand miles to join the racial justice movement of his generation. He arrived in Seattle during the Capitol Hill Occupied Protest, known as CHOP. Less than a week later, he was shot and killed there. The case remains unsolved. In this eight-part series, first published on NPR’s Embedded, KUOW’s Will James and The Seattle Times’ Sydney Brownstone track down key figures and eyewitnesses from the night of the shooting and surface crucial evidence that has never been made public.

We Keep Us Safe is a joint production of KUOW, The Seattle Times, and NPR’s Embedded.

Focus is KUOW’s home for immersive audio documentaries. Each season zooms in on a single story that challenges commonly held narratives about life in the Pacific Northwest and reveals something bigger about American society. Series include Adults in the Room and the Peabody-nominated Lost Patients.
