It happened! The Padres became the final MLB team in 2024 to achieve a series sweep, doing so with back-to-back walkoff wins, this time with Jackson Merrill playing the role of hero. But massive series performances from Donovan Solano, Fernando Tatis Jr., Robert Suarez, and more helped the carry the team over the line.
