But this isn’t about deleting all your apps or living off the grid — it’s about learning how to be present and purposeful in the spaces we’re called to.

The noting of Saul’s physical appearance. As I was studying this, I had a revelation about my own physical appearance. I was designed, completely, by God. Every inch. Every part I like and don’t like. And God will can use physical insecurities for His purpose! And He can use them to further the Kingdom of God!! How cool! I hope this perspective shift helps you give the Lord your physical insecurities and helps you even talk more about them. In hopes that more conversations, can lead to more people being set free from the lies they are believing about themselves!

** Trigger warning: we talk about eating disorders in this episode.

On this episode of our sleepover series, MM invites her friend Abby Dawson on to share her story. Abby shares her personal walk through an eating disorder and struggle with body image and how her community played a huge role in helping her get the care she needed.

A lot of times with disordered eating, we hardly realize that our eating is actually disordered. Abby opens up about her experience with this and how you can let a loved one in or how you can be the loved one to help. She establishes the importance of distinguishing between parental ways to help and how a friend can help. Abby emphasizes how you can have the conversation with a loved one you care about but not become accusatory. They also share about the importance of interceding on the person’s behalf who may be struggling.

We hope that this conversation reminds you that you are not alone and that we are In This Together. And we hope that it helps you gain the courage to speak up about any struggles you may be facing.

For the one that feels like they are "In-Between" May 11, 2023

Isla is back!! And we are so happy about it! After a not so great day there's nothing better than a conversation with a friend- and that's how this phone call was for us. Isla shares about her past few months and how it taught her how to listen to God rather than people. Listening to God rather than people can be difficult, especially when people's voices in life are very loud. But it is made easier when we prioritize and really value the Lord's voice rather than people's opinions. There are things that keep us from believing that God's voice really is the best for us in our lives, Isla shares some things that were keeping her from trusting the Lord and how she worked through them. MM shares a similar to story of Isla's in the Bible- David in 1 Samuel. Sometimes we forget that the Bible is full of relatable stories that are to teach us how to grow in relationship with God and freedom.

Isla also talks about her post grad experience with jobs and offers advice for the person that just feels like they are in the "In-Between" whether it's with jobs, relationships, or anything. We hope that this real conversation encourages you to walk a little more confidently i trusting the Lord above all else with your life and leads you to a life of freedom. We are so thankful for you. FINDING COURAGE & FACING FEAR W/ RILEY KEHOE! May 04, 2023

On this episode of the In This Together Podcast, Maia sits down with her new friend Riley Kehoe to discuss all things COURAGE! Riley Kehoe is a writer, speaker, and non-profit leader who uses her platform to equip and inspire young girls throughout the country. Riley shares her personal testimony on how she faced a near death experience in the Boxing Day Tsunami and how she overcame her fear that resulted from living through such a tragic event. She shares how her parents were an incredible encouragement to her facing her fears and to her living a life full of adventure.

Through her personal experience, Riley shares her wisdom on how to acknowledge fear and live an authentic, JOY-FILLED life! Rather than just ignoring fears, she explains how it's important to acknowledge them to truly overcome them. And even talks on what to do when those fears are triggered.

On Episode 28 of Season 2, of the In this Together podcast MM sits down with her husband Chance to talk about all things Relationships, Annoyances, Baseball Life, and Transitions! Chance and MM talk about their 4 moves in 6 months and how to handle transitions with your spouse- the key really being patience.
