Outdoor ideas: camping, boating or playing at a lake or river, hiking, picnic in the backyard, treasure hunt at the park, nature walk in a new neighborhood, playing in sprinkler, chalk art, painting rocks.
Indoor ideas: forts in the living room, making snacks together, making and delivering goodies to neighbors, packing up lunches for the homeless, sewing or craft project, acting out your favorite book, writing a play, making a list of books to read, secret service between siblings.
Paid outings: zoo, water park, stay in a local hotel, go out to breakfast, rent an RV, museums, trampoline park, movies, bowling, laser tag, arcade, road trip to explore local town.
Multiday activities: Monopoly, lengthy audio books, huge puzzles, complex craft projects, building projects (sand box, swing set, fort), learning a new skill like sewing or playing an instrument.
