Social Media Q+A with Karen Doolittle May 16, 2018
    Show notes

Part two: after chatting with Karen Doolittle about money, and how to know what you're worth, Caroline asks Karen a series of questions about her social media practices--and, about what social media strategists look for when they're hiring 'influencers'.

Karen Doolittle is a Los Angeles based photographer. After a feature on the Instagram blog a few years ago placed her in the spotlight and resulted in a greater social media following, Karen found that pairing her love of photography and social media by getting a job with an advertising agency was her ultimate dream. She now works as a social media strategist for Davis Elen in LA, and came over to my place where we chatted about money and how to know what you’re worth.

Social Media Q+A with Rachel Nguyen Apr 25, 2018
    Show notes

Part Two: after discussing what it was like to grow up with strict immigrant parents, Caroline asks Rachel a series of questions about her social media history and practice.

Rachel Nguyen is a fashion blogger and YouTube'r, also known on social media as That's Chic. While growing up in Orange County, California with strict immigrant parents, Rachel quickly learned that the internet was a space she could cultivate community and express herself creatively, and she was quite the early adopter with social media before it was even known by that name.
