The Past Lives Podcast Ep198 MG Stephens Feb 14, 2022

Show notes

This week I'm talking to MG Stephens about her book THE BOOGEYMAN CHRONICLES.
From ghosts to UFO's and unexplained phenomena, M.G. takes you on a chronological telling of every encounter she and her family endured over the last 40+ years in The Boogeyman Chronicles.
Bio
M.G. Stephens is a neurodivergent medium/empath who grew up knowing she was very different but not sure in what way. She started experiencing paranormal activity as early as two years old. Her mother was also a well-known psychic that worked with detectives and solving cold cases. M.G. struggled to accept her abilities for decades and tried her best to dismiss all of the terrifying encounters she was having on a daily basis.
After many years of hesitancy, M.G. finally learned that her abilities could help people and began to slowly accept and develop them. After much prodding from clients and friends, she decided to write a book detailing her terrifying real-life journey through the paranormal. M.G. also has a podcast of the same name, where she delves into the concept of paranormal PTSD. MG Stephens is 44 years of age and is currently living in Los Angeles, California, working in the film industry. She is proud to say that she was 'born and raised in the South'.

Mediumship. This week I am talking to Angela Dunlop about her book 'The Miracle of Mediumship'.
People assume that after a loved one dies, they have gone forever. It can be a wonderful surprise and relief when they receive contact beyond the grave.
Angela Dunlop is helping to transform people’s understanding of life after death. Having communicated with thousands of people who have passed over, Angela delivers messages of comfort to loved ones they have left behind. Her insight and connection to the Spirit World proves beyond doubt that the soul continues after death.
This extraordinary book tells remarkable stories from normal people who have proof of contact from loved ones passed. It’s a book to help restore your faith.
Bio
I’ve been on my Spiritual path since I was 24, I began attending classes and circle at the Belfast Spiritualist Church. Over the years of my training as a medium I studied in the Arthur Findlay College, London. I was fortunate to work alongside a few highly skilled teachers from the college, Tony Stockwell, Glyn Edwards, Chris Drew, Andy Byng, Mavis Pittila and Paul Jacobs. As my journey into mediumship unfolded I began working with clients for private sittings and demonstrating my ability to the public.
Back in 2009 I opened my first holistic centre called ‘House of Healing’ it was a beautiful centre selling new age gifts, crystals and jewellery. We provided services in healing and offered training. From here I taught students and shared my insights through my mediumship to clients. I decided in September 2020 to close the shop and work from home. This gave the opportunity to slow down and finally write my first book ‘The Miracle of Mediumship’.

Past life regression to a life on another planet. In this extra episode we hear a past life regression therapy session I conducted with a client. I have edited out reference to the issue the client has to aid anonymity.
Sometimes when people are hypnotised they leave long pauses when they speak. I have edited the pauses so this episode is good to listen to.
The gentleman in this recording kindly agreed to let me make this into an episode. I find it fascinating and I hope you do too.

Evidence for the Survival of Human Consciousness | Ep196 Jan 31, 2022

Show notes

Evidence of an afterlife. This week I am talking to Sharon Rawlette about her book 'Beyond Death: The Best Evidence for the Survival of Human Consciousness'.
Does consciousness continue after death? For 150 years, scientists, doctors, and other highly qualified investigators have carefully collected evidence in hopes of answering this question. In this award-winning essay, Sharon Hewitt Rawlette analyzes the best of that evidence to date.
Starting with third-person phenomena such as after-death apparitions, mediumship, and telephone calls from the dead and moving on to first-person phenomena like near-death experiences, memories of previous lives, and memories of the period between lives, Rawlette lays out the vast landscape of evidence for life beyond the grave. She argues that extensive cross-validation between first- and third-person evidence cripples the strongest skeptical arguments brought against each type considered alone. Ultimately, she concludes that the survival of consciousness is the best explanation for the evidence taken as a whole and considers what implications this has for our understanding of the world we live in, even while we are still on this side of death.
Both readable and rigorous, Beyond Death is a fascinating distillation of a century and a half of afterlife research.
Bio
Sharon is an analytically trained philosopher (PhD from New York University, 2008) who specializes in metaethics and the metaphysics and epistemology of paranormal experiences. My most recent scholarly publication is on the topic of the statistical significance of psychic coincidences and their implications for belief in psychic causation. Her past publications include The Feeling of Value (2016), a defense of analytic descriptivism in ethics, and "What do our intuitions about the experience machine really tell us about hedonism?" (2010).

The Past Lives Podcast Ep195 William Peters Jan 24, 2022

Show notes

Shared Death Experiences. This week I am talking to William Peters about his book, 'AT HEAVEN’S DOOR: What Shared Journeys to the Afterlife Teach About Dying Well and Living Better'.
William J Peters is a practicing grief and bereavement therapist, he holds degrees from Harvard’s Graduate School of Education and UC Berkeley. He is the founder of the Shared Crossing Project and director of its Research Initiative. He is recognized as a global leader in the field of shared death studies, he has spent decades studying end-of-life experiences.
A groundbreaking, authoritative exploration—rich with powerful personal stories and convincing research—of the many ways the living can and do accompany the dying on their journey into the afterlife.
In 2000, end-of-life therapist William Peters was volunteering at the Zen Hospice Project in San Francisco when he had an extraordinary experience as he was reading aloud to a patient: he suddenly felt himself floating in midair, completely out of his body. The patient, who was also aloft, looked at him and smiled. The next moment, Peters felt himself return to his body…but the patient never regained consciousness and died.
Perplexed and stunned by what had happened, Peters began searching for other people who’d shared similar experiences. He would spend the next twenty years gathering and meticulously categorizing their stories to identify key patterns and features of what is now known as the “shared crossing” experience. The similarities, which cut across continents and cultures and include awe-inspiring visual and sensory effects, and powerful emotional after-effects, were impossible to ignore.
Long whispered about in the hospice and medical communities, these extraordinary moments of final passage are openly discussed and explained in At Heaven’s Door. The book is filled with powerful tales of spouses on departing this earth after decades together and bereaved parents who share their children’s entry into the afterlife. Applying rigorous research, Peters digs into the effect these shared crossing experiences impart—liberation at the sight of a loved one finding joy, a sense of reconciliation if the relationship was fraught—and explores questions like: What can explain these shared death experiences? How can we increase our likelihood of having one? What do these experiences tell us about what lies beyond? And, most importantly, how can they help take away the sting of death and better prepare us for our own final moments? How can we have both a better life and a better death?

The Past Lives Podcast Ep194 Karen Joy Jan 17, 2022

Show notes

This week on The Past Lives Podcast I am talking to Karen Joy about her book 'Lost Soul, Wise Soul: How Challenging Past Lives Shape Our Future'.
Drawing on her most compelling client cases, author Karen Joy shows you the natural arc of a soul's journey over many lifetimes—including violent or negative ones—until we finally come back to the light. This book reveals how souls begin, how they enter lives on earth, and how experiencing a diverse range of lives teaches them to be wiser and happier.
Your soul's journey is sometimes burdened with difficult past lives, and they can cause your present self to replay or struggle with negative experiences. Through fascinating and inspiring case studies, Lost Soul, Wise Soul shows that you can overcome a history of unethical or shameful behavior and reconnect to your soul’s source energy. This book helps you reclaim your power and step into joy.
Karen Joy spent twenty years as a registered psychologist in her successful private practice. Like Dr Michael Newton, Karen accidentally regressed a client into a past life when she told the client, who was in trance, to go to the origin of the problem. Once the traumatic experience from the past life was resolved, the client had no more problems with the issue in her current life.
She has many qualifications including,
Certified as Life Between Lives Therapist with the Newton Institute for LBL Hypnotherapy
Certificate of Past Life Regression Advanced Hypnotherapy Techniques with the Holistic Healing Centre of New York (USA)
She is co author of Llewellyn’s Little Book of Life Between Lives and co author of Wisdom of Souls
Case Studies of Life Between Lives from the Michael Newton Institute.

The Past Lives Podcast Ep193 Adam Dince Jan 10, 2022

Show notes

Exploring Near-Death Experiences Through Hypnosis. This week I am talking to Adam Dince about his book 'Back to the Beyond: Exploring Near-Death Experiences Through Hypnosis'.
What happens after you die? Is there an afterlife? How can I find peace in my fear of death, or comfort after I've lost a loved one?
After the tragic death of his father, Adam Dince wrestled with these questions for years. In search of answers, he began to research stories of those who had near-death experiences-people who briefly died but came back to life.
These brilliant accounts filled Adam with hope that we live on long after our bodies do.
Today, Adam is a certified hypnotherapist who specializes in past life regression, along with regressing clients back to memories and experiences in their "life between lives."
Seven stunning first hand accounts of near-death experiences.
The science behind the new hypnotherapy modality, near-death experience.
Regression, and what the multidimensional aspects of the mind can teach us about consciousness and other realms.
Fans of After by Dr. Bruce Greyson will appreciate this secular approach to a spiritual question-and the transformational lessons it provides.
What awaits us after physical death is both perfect and beautiful. And what people who have gone back to the beyond can tell you—is that it's all about love.
Adam's BIO
Adam Dince is a hypnotherapist certified by the Institute for Neuro-Linguistic Programming (INLP) Center and the International Hypnosis Federation. Adam specializes in current life regression, past life regression, life between lives regression (LBL), and hypnotic regression techniques that heal present-life traumas, limiting beliefs, and other challenging life experiences. Adam refers to a new hypnotherapy modality that he's developed as near-death experience (NDE) regression and is covered in explicit detail in his new book, BackToTheBeyond.com.
