    00:00 - Podcast intro

03:00 - OU killed themselves ALL GAME LONG! Why are Sooners fans blaming OU QB Dillon Gabriel? 2011 OU/Baylor and 2012 OU/KSU all over again!?

08:00 - Kstate was more opportunistic, and OU wasn't. One team shot themselves in the foot, and one didn't. Parker brings up KState OC Collin Klein. The former Wildcat QB beat OU in 2012. Brandon acknowledges that a similar game plan was used to beat the Sooners a decade ago in Norman.

16:00 - 3rd and 16.... Adrian Martinez... What happened? Parker explains. Brandon explains and then loses his mind on one particular situation on that play, and why wasn't Jaren Kanak used to play some at cheetah spot? 83 plays for KSU. Did Dashaun White play all 83? Could that have cost OU on that play? They discuss as Brandon asked Roof why there was no Kanak vs KSU.

28:00 - What were the players' feelings after the game, and what was their response to the loss? Was it a wake-up call? Did players like David Ugwoegbu, Danny Stutsman, and others make it clear the plan for the next week?

31:00 - Was Venables overly mad? He made a statement that he was "pissed" after the loss. Did the media/Brandon and Parker feel that this was a lesson learned? And what did BV put off to make us believe one way or another? And was the Nebraska game dominance bad for OU heading into this week after KSU lost to Tulane?

36:00 - Where does this team go from here? Can BV and the Sooners get Dillon Gabriel and company to finish off 10-2 or 11-1 moving forward? Parker and Brandon discuss.

44:00 - Should OU fans be worried that this loss could cause certain recruits to look at the Sooners differently? What about five-star DL David Hicks? What's our gut feeling with Hicks and his Wednesday, September 28th? OU or A&M?

59:00 - What were recruits reactions even after a Sooners' loss?

    00:00 - Podcast intro

02:00 - Sooners dominate the Huskers, but what do we know about Oklahoma as a whole after the win? Anything yet? Brandon and Parker discuss that and ask why everyone thinks Nebraska is all of the sudden so bad when their last 13 losses were by single-digits? Why haven't other programs dominated them like OU did on Saturday?

8:30 - Did the Sooners response to 7-0 lead by Nebraska show anything?

10:00 - Defense is becoming quite good. How good can they be? And what do we think of the Sooners' offense after OU and Jeff Lebby opened their offense up and let Dillon Gabriel, Jalil Farooq, Eric Gray, Marvin Mims and Marcus Major loose.

23:00 - Jaren Kanak is a bad, bad man. We talk about him and what Brent Venables had to say about the fast-rising freshman after Kanak's stellar performance this Saturday. And we also talk about the LB's like David Ugwoegbu, Danny Stutsman, Dashaun White and others. How much pressure they have put on them each game and how they are responding.

30:00 - One word to describe the Sooners' defensive performance. Get off track and talk about how sad this is for a once great rivalry, but also get back to the description we have for the OU performance in one word.

41:00 - Three players each we feel had their best days as Sooners. Interesting picks.

47:00 - Amen!!!! That the Sooners OC Jeff Lebby is targeting Sooners star WR Marvin Mims each game. OU fans rejoice after screaming about it all 2021 season! And how OU also spreads the ball around more balanced than ever before at the same time.

Sooners' first road test of the season @ historic rival Huskers| Who is Nebraska after coaching changes? Should Oklahoma expect the unexpected with NU having nothing to lose?|What does OU need to do to win?|4-star/5-star recruiting targets updates

Oklahoma was bland on offense, and head coach Brent Venables wanted to see some strain and OU's reaction last week against Kent State. BV got just that with the Sooners' offense struggling until the final minutes of the first half.

Oklahoma's offense kicked it in gear, but this was the second week in a row that the Sooners' defense was dominant from start to finish. They now lead the nation in tackles for loss (23) and touchdowns given up (one) on the season. Oklahoma is also third in sacks with nine total now.

So after a bad first half of offense and a really good second half vs Kent State, in a 33-3 win, what do the Sooners need to do to beat the Huskers on the road? This will be OU's first road test, and with Nebraska firing Scott Frost and hiring interim head coach Mickey Joseph, who will Nebraska be? Should the Sooners expect the unexpected? What does OU need to do on offense and defense to pull out the win? Can the Sooners keep the Husker faithful quiet the majority of the game and stem momentum? And who needs to step up for the Sooners to come out with a victory on Saturday? All that, with predictions and recruiting updates on four-star ATH Malachi Coleman, four-star DL Jordan Renaud, five-star DL David HIcks, four-star DL Kayden McDonald, and four-star LB Tausili Akana in this latest episode of the OUinsdider: Under the Visor Sooners Podcast!

10:00 - Nebraska game breakdown. What does OU have to do this weekend on the road to pull off the win? What do the firing of Scott Frost and the hiring of interim HC Mickey Joseph do for the Huskers this weekend? Can the Sooners attack the Huskers' defense that has been proven early to have the propensity to give up the big play in the run game and passing game?

16:00 - Nebraska fans with renewed confidence and feel they should beat OU this weekend. Where does the confidence come from, and why are some discounting BV's defense?

24:00 - The challenge the Huskers' offense and Casey Thompson brings to OU's defense. And can the Huskers break through the single-digit losses to upset OU?

31:00 - Can the Huskers control the clock as they did in Norman last season? Will BV's defense allow that, or will they force Nebraska to be more assertive and fast-paced?

37:30 - Sooners players that need to step up on offense and defense? Players of the game on both sides were predicted by Brandon and Parker. And why they picked them. The duo predicts the final score and winner between Oklahoma and Nebraska. What were their final scores, and who did they pick to win?

45:00 - Brandon and Parker talk about where things stand with the Sooners' recruiting and top targets, a la four-star ATH Malachi Coleman, four-star DL Jordan Renaud, five-star DL David Hicks, four-star DE Colton Vasek, four-star DL Derrick Leblanc, four-star DL Kayden McDonald, and four-star LB Tausili Akana.

PostGame: Sooners Jekyll/Hyde but dominate Kent State 33-3| Defense looking solid, what's offense issue?| Scott Frost firing & how that changes OU/Neb game| Q&A from VIP'ers| HUGE recruiting weekend

Oklahoma started off with one of the worst first halves of football we have seen, offensively, in years for the Sooners. Oklahoma was able to salvage things behind Dillon Gabriel, Marvin Mims, Drake Stoops, Eric Gray, and Marcus Major, and on the defensive side, Oklahoma was led by Reggie Grimes, Danny Stutsman, Billy Bowman, Jalen Redmond, and Justin Broiles.

After a 2-0 start, Brent Venables and Oklahoma are headed to Nebraska, where Scott Frost was fired, and WR coach Mickey Joseph was given the interim head coaching job. Will that have a huge impact on how things go from here on out for Nebraskas, and most specifically, the Sooners game this weekend? If so, how will it impact things?

What do we expect from OU this week vs Nebraska? Standouts from OU/Kent State game? Q&A questions answered from OUinsider VIP members on the podcast, and Brandon and Parker dive into the HUGE recruiting weekend and where things stand with OU targets like five-star DB Peyton Bowen, four-star DB Ryan Yaites, and four-star DL Jordan Renaud (only official visitor this weekend).

14:00 - Age of offense over in college football? Oklahoma comes out guns blazing to jump on top of UTEP 21-0 early on in the Sooners initial game of the 2022 season. Oklahoma ended up winning 45-13 in their home opener, with Dillon Gabriel, Eric Gray, Marcus Major, Brayden Willis and Gavin Freeman all had big plays on offense on Saturday to help the Sooners roll.

The side everyone wanted to see was Brent Venables' defense and they came to play. Sure tackling in open space, six sacks from the Sooners' front seven. UTEP had 51 pass attempts and completed 31 of them, but only averaged 5.8 a completion. Brandon Drumm and Parker Thune discuss the secondary and why how they covered was by design, along with the huge day from DE Reggie Grimes. He was joined by safety Billy Bowman, LB Danny Stutsman, DE Ethan Downs and freshman EDGE rusher R Mason Thomas as standouts on defense. They discuss what made them standouts, along with other young players on both sides of the ball that made their mark and more!

02:30 - Atmosphere/ intro and "They set the standard, we defend it," mantra by Brent Venables in the intro video before the Sooners ran out. Drumm poses the question "will they ever ask Muleshoe" to be in the video 10-20 years from now? His history is a part of OU football good or bad with Big 12 Titles. Both he and Parker concede that won't happen anytime soon and both admit they still dislike how Muleshoe handled things. Drumm admits it was a troll question, but will have people talking one way or another.

14:30 - Atmosphere was great! It was scorching hot, but the older crowd stayed and student section left with 9 min left in second quarter in a two possession game. The history has been the same for several years with that section. Drumm says they are VITAL to atmosphere in stadium and help make it LOUD. Both say they will let the next few games play out before going all-in and fully understand some fell out yesterday due to heat and hope all is okay today. Also, hope there is more passion from student section in the future.

31:00 - Offensive standouts. The good/bad. What was the first thing most noticeable according to Drumm with the offense. Something that has been an issue for the offense over the last few years and why this was a good change if it continues over the season. Parker concurs and adds his two cents on offense.

35:00 - Defense standouts. Young players making their mark. Vanilla base defense and why secondary was still good when you deep dive into stats. Reggie Grimes was a star. Billy Bowman was what we were told he was.

38:00 - The secondary was a topic of conversation on OUinsider VIP. Brandon and Parker say how things were done was scheme and if you deep dive into the stats, you'll see the Sooners secondary was pretty good yesterday. A few were coverage sacks.

47:00- Brandon and Parker name their offense/defense players of the game.

51:00 - Gavin Freeman and the cool story he has a walk-on legacy that had P5 offers elsewhere and chose to walk-on at OU.
