The Browns have made significant changes on both sides of the ball heading into 2023, whether through player acquisitions, coaching changes or both.

It's created a high level of intrigue for what this team can do this season.

Cleveland.com's film expert, Lance Reisland, joined Dan Labbe on Wednesday's Orange and Brown Talk Podcast to talk about the 10 players they are most excited to see this season. They do a draft and take turns picking five players each, starting with some obvious choices and then winding through the roster.

At the end, they throw out some honorable mention picks, too, including one player they probably should have drafted.

The Browns remade defense features a new coordinator in Jim Schwartz who loves the defensive line and the pass rush. You don't hire a racecar driver like Schwartz, though, and then give him a Honda Civic.

The Browns went out and traded for Za'Darius Smith and signed Ogbo Okoronkwo to help bolster the D-line around Myles Garrett. Will Smith and Okoronkwo make the impact the Browns are hoping?

The Browns linebackers were ravaged by injury in 2022 and they're relying on a number of them to return this season and contribute in Jim Schwartz's defense.

Mary Kay Cabot and Ashley Bastock took questions from our Football Insider Subscribers for an AMA.

The two hit on their favorite Cleveland ice cream spots and the latest restaurants they've tried.

There's some football talk mixed in too, as they discuss why they think the NFL John Carroll University pipeline exists since Ashley has some inside knowledge as an alum. Previewing the Browns' training camp schedule + talking interior D-line starters as a key question for 2023 Jun 22, 2023

It's almost that time of year.

We are exactly one month away from the Browns beginning training camp and that means it's time to preview their practice schedule.

Mary Kay Cabot and Ashley Bastock discuss the schedule for open practices in Berea, and how fans can get free tickets for those eight open sessions. They also discuss Cleveland's decision to begin training camp out of town this year at The Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia with a week of closed practices, and their two joint practices in Philadelphia with the Eagles.

The two also get into answering one of their 23 questions ahead of the '23 season. First up, they tackle who will start opposite of Dalvin Tomlinson on the interior defensive line.

They make the case for why it could actually be an additional edge rusher in Za'Darius Smith, and all the new alignments they might see.

Finally, they break down the latest with Perrion Winfrey and what his role could be after he encountered a legal issue this offseason that charges were dismissed for last week.
