September is here, the NFL season is around the corner and we've been watching this Browns team practice since July 22. In other words, we've had plenty of time to get a feel for things and figure out what we think about certain areas of the team.

Mary Kay Cabot, Ashley Bastock and Dan Labbe go through three categories in looking ahead to the 2023 season.

They start with what they are most certain about heading into the year. They cover both sides of the ball as they go through their answers.

Then they flip it and go over what they are least certain about. What areas of the team concern them the most?

Lastly, it's what they are most curious about heading into the 2023 season.

They talk players, coaches and groups as they cover all three topics.

The Browns are about to enter their first full season with Deshaun Watson as their starting quarterback and expectations are high for him and the Browns. Does he look like an elite quarterback so far as the season begins?

Would Cade York on the Browns practice squad work + more on the 53-man roster Aug 30, 2023

We knew Cade York wasn't going to be on the Browns' 53-man roster -- the Browns traded for kicker Dustin Hopkins on Monday -- but could he land on the practice squad? Head coach Kevin Stefanski didn't rule it out on Tuesday.

Would it even be a good idea?

Mary Kay Cabot, Ashley Bastock and Dan Labbe start their look at the Browns' initial 53-man roster by talking about York and what it would even look like to put him on the practice squad and create a path for him to be the Browns kicker some day.

Then they look at the receiver room and the decisions to keep David Bell and waive Austin Watkins before they look at two undrafted players who made the team on the defensive side of the ball.

Lastly, they get into Denzel Ward suffering his fourth concussion and what his football future holds.

The Browns made a switch at kicker, trading for Dustin Hopkins and waiving second-year kicker Cade York. It's the end of a brief run for York after the Browns made him a fourth-round pick in 2022.

The Browns have until Tuesday at 4 p.m. to cut their roster to 53 players. They’ll likely be done with their moves well in advance of the deadline -- they’re scheduled to practice at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, after all.

Before they get their initial roster set, Mary Kay Cabot, Ashley Bastock and Dan Labbe take their best shot at predicting the team’s 53-man roster. They go over who they believe are locks and who they think will round out the rest of the group, including what the Browns will do at kicker.

They talk through the entire roster and beg, borrow and steal their way to 53 players.
