The Browns pulled the upset on Sunday against the 49ers thanks to a dominant defensive performance. They did with P.J. Walker, who they elevated off the practice squad. Browns out-tough the 49ers on Sunday: Postgame podcast Oct 16, 2023

The 49ers showed up to Cleveland Browns Stadium on Sunday looking for a fight and they got one -- before the game and during. The Browns beat them, 19-17, handing them their first loss of the season and moving to 3-2 on the year.

Mary Kay Cabot, Ashley Bastock and Dan Labbe discussed the game on Sunday night from the stadium in their postgame Orange and Brown Talk Podcast.

They get into a dominant performance from the defense, who shut down San Francisco's high-powered offensive attack and allowed the offense to do just enough to win the game. They also discussed the potential return of Deshaun Watson and the play of Amari Cooper on a big day for the Browns' No. 1 receiver.

They spend time talking about the kicking game and Dan gets shut down when he tries to take a victory lap over a score prediction that never actually went on the record.

The Deshaun Watson saga goes on for at least another day or two this week. After not playing against the Ravens, Watson returned from the bye week and practiced inside, away from the team on Monday and head coach Kevin Stefanski was non-committal about him playing on Sunday when the 49ers arrive to town.

Mary Kay Cabot and Dan Labbe talked all things Watson in Part 1 of a Hey, Mary Kay! edition of the Orange and Brown Talk Podast. Part 2 will run on Tuesday and focus on bigger picture Browns questions.

Should the Browns trade for Jonathan Taylor? + Reactions to Andrew Berry's bye week press conference Oct 05, 2023

The Browns lost their star running back earlier this season when Nick Chubb went down with a season-ending injury in Pittsburgh in Week 2. He underwent surgery last Friday and will undergo another surgery to repair his ACL. It is not known when he will have that surgery.
