Browns left tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. outlined on Monday the events that led to him losing his job to Dawand Jones and said he made a “business decision” prior to the Browns' win over the Ravens.

There were already questions about Wills' future here, but his comments only put more of a spotlight on what it looks like for GM Andrew Berry’s first draft pick.

Mary Kay Cabot, Ashley Bastock and Dan Labbe discussed Wills' comments on Tuesday’s Orange and Brown Talk podcast and what it means for Wills in the longterm, either here or elsewhere.

Browns GM Andrew Berry held his bye week press conference on Sunday and offered few clues as to what the Browns will do this offseason with quarterback Deshaun Watson. That doesn't mean that Mary Kay Cabot, Ashley Bastock and Dan Labbe weren't going to go sleuthing through what he said.

Thursday's Orange and Brown Talk podcast starts with the three of them discussing what Berry said about his quarterback and Watson's future with the team and if he gave any indication about what it could look either keeping Watson or moving on from him.

Then they talk about what Berry said about Kevin Stefanski and the tackle situation.

The state of the Browns roster after the trade deadline: Where do they go from here? Nov 06, 2024

A quiet trade deadline passed for the Browns on Tuesday, featuring the trading away of Za'Darius Smith and the release of Quinton Jefferson. Now it's on to the final eight weeks of the season and playing out the remainder of the year before they have to make difficult decisions.

Mary Kay Cabot, Ashley Bastock and Dan Labbe got together shortly after the expiration of the deadline on Tuesday and talked about the move to deal Smith and if it was the right thing to do and if the Browns got enough.

Then they went deeper on the state of the roster and what comes next. There's some sort of reset coming, but how long of a detour will the Browns need to take before they can think about trying to win a championship again? What will they do at the quarterback position? Could they move some of their stars in the offseason?

They also look around the AFC North at what the other teams did as they try to push to make the postseason.

What does Sunday’s performance tell us about the Browns quarterback future? Postgame podcast Oct 28, 2024

The Browns entertained their fans Sunday with a surprising 29-24 win over the Baltimore Ravens at Huntington Bank Field.

The game marked the debut of Jameis Winston as the Browns’ starting quarterback, in place of Deshaun Watson, who is out for the season after Achilles tendon surgery Friday. Winston threw a 38-yard touchdown pass to Cedric Tillman with 59 seconds left for the final margin as the Browns (2-6) ended a losing streak at five.

Winston finished the day 27 of 41 passing for 334 yards. It was his first start since Sept. 25, 2022, for New Orleans.

So what does Winston‘s performance mean for the Browns’ future at quarterback? What does it mean for Deshaun Watson? Was there more to this performance by the offense than just the quarterback change?
