On this edition of the Orange and Brown Talk Podcast, we lean into one of the craziest ideas Scott Patsko ever had -- looking back at the 1986 Browns barbarian film "Masters of the Gridiron," which features stars of the team running shirtless through the woods, fighting ninjas during a music video and seeking a ring to make them Masters of the Gridiron. Maybe you're very familiar with the 17-minute film, maybe you've never heard of it before, but it warrants at least a brief trip down memory lane

At the end of the pod, Scott and Doug Lesmerises do discuss some relevant football numbers as they debate whether last year's Browns data applies this year or not.

Aaron Schatz, the editor in chief of FootballOutsiders.com, joins Doug Lesmerises on this Tuesday Orange and Brown Talk to talk about what the data might tell us about the 2021 Cleveland Browns.

But this might also be a team that bucks the data.

The defense is totally revamped; Baker Mayfield almost had two seasons in one last season; Odell Beckham Jr., is coming back from injury ... and there are other reasons that Schatz agreed the Browns are a tough one for this season.

'Draft Day' watch pod: Most realistic, least realistic and deep dives into the characters Jul 19, 2021

Doug Lesmerises and Dan Labbe had never seen 'Draft Day,' the movie that thrust the Browns into the national spotlight with Kevin Costner as GM. Scott Patsko had seen it and he had some thoughts.

So the three watched the movie and got together to record a podcast recapping all things about the movie. They discussed the most and least realistic, the best and worst performances and dove into the main characters, draft prospects and draft strategy.

Mary Kay Cabot and Doug Lesmerises are back with another draft on this Friday Orange and Brown Talk. A week ago, they each drafted 12 offensive players to form two teams from the Browns offense. So they'll each 12 defensive players to form two teams from the Browns defense. Doug has the first pick this time and of course selects Myles Garrett. But where should John Johnson III, Jadeveon Clowney, Jeremiah Owusu-Koromoah and Greg Newsome come off the board?

Once again, the intention of the draft is to provide a little info about the Browns depth and to address which players are the most valuable, based both off their talent and the guys behind them.
