One MANS Opinion: Episode 104 – Super Bowl 56 Preview Feb 09, 2022

This episode is from start to finish the most in-depth Bengals/Rams preview you will ever hear. First, he gives out four of his favorite Super Bowl party games to make your get-together pop. Then, Jeff Mans devotes a full hour to identify the strengths and weaknesses of both teams on offense, defense, and special teams. He also discusses where each team should be attacking one another while on offense and which players would benefit from those optimal game plans. Mans also dives into the strategies of playing showdown daily fantasy contests and gives out a pair of players he will be investing in this week. Then he reminds us to weed out all of the noise surrounding Super Bowl prop bets and just concentrate on those that provide you with a calculated advantage. Of course, he puts it on tape with his five favorite Super Bowl bets for the Bengals and Rams big game this week.

Jeff Mans begins by following up on his announcement from last week that all his content moving forward will be only on Fantasy Guru dot com. He provides some follow-up context for this decision and why it will be great moving forward. He recaps the Cincinnati Bengals upset over the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Rams victory over the San Francisco 49ers and explains why these two teams wound up on top. Mans gives his thoughts on former Dolphins head coach Brian Flores suing the NFL and begs all of us to start having the conversations that make you most uncomfortable because it will make us all stronger. After two years of referring to the Washington Football Team as the “Potatoes”, he gives his reaction to the new “Commanders” nickname. Finally, Mans opens up the mailbag for a wild rendition of “Ask Mans Anything” which pushes the discomfort all the way up.

Jeff Mans begins this episode with the announcement that he was diagnosed with Covid-19. He discusses how he contracted it, his symptoms and what it has been like for him. The good news is that while sick over the weekend, he got to watch the greatest four games on one NFL weekend in history. Mans gives all of his takeaways from the NFL’s Divisional Round playoffs including the solution to fixing the overtime mess. He recaps another profitable week in NFL betting as well while revealing some of the most popular mistakes that new sports bettors are making. This sets off a “how-to” for NFL sports bettors as Mans discusses how he hit five straight in-game bets during the 49ers/Cowboys contest. Coming off of the “most difficult week in fantasy football history,” he reflects on how injuries, rest, and Covid-19 have changed all sports forever. Mans discusses some of the changes he is making both personally and professionally heading into 2022 including a major shift in how he does social media. Jeff reacts to the unexpected passing of the legendary John Madden and how one of his Christmas gifts this year shows just how big of an impact Madden had on all of our lives. Then he answers a bunch of “Ask Mans Anything” questions which leads to topics such as DFS lineup building, the future of the 49ers backfield, the most important part of high stakes leagues, and the future of the sport of football.
