In today's world where political and social issues are constantly full of tension, and often outrage, we must ask ourselves the question: How does my identity as a follower of Christ impact the lens through which I view politics?
We know that as Christians, we are called to live and engage in this world without becoming of it. We know that while we are citizens of our countries, our first and ultimate allegiance is to Christ and growing His Kingdom. Being a Christian doesn't mean we're a republican any more than being a Christian means we're a democrat. We're called to submit to and pray for our governing authorities, regardless of where they lie on the political spectrum. And ultimately, the demeanor we as Christians take when engaging in politics should exemplify Christ.
In this episode we chat all about politics through a biblical worldview, focusing on eight principles you as a Christian should consider regarding your engagement in the political realm.
