Is FSU’s time in the ACC nearing an end? Realignment discussion, decision day for Charles Lester, and more Jul 28, 2023

Show notes

On The Bench begins with 10 minutes of Chris Nee diving into his report on Noles247 about Florida State's exploration of leaving the ACC. He details the reasoning of the timing of his report, why he believe things are escalating when it comes to FSU/realignment, and the possible risks and factors involved if FSU were to indeed make a jump.

We then transition into more context on the report, including a connecting of dots on why the Big Ten makes more sense than the SEC if anything is indeed imminent.

And the final 30 minutes of the show are spent on takeaways from FSU's time at ACC Kickoff, our final thoughts on Charles Lester as he chooses between FSU, Colorado, and Alabama, and then some other important recruiting updates

Recruiting updates, coming and going, and 2013 championship memories ft. Ebo Entsuah Jul 20, 2023

Show notes

It is an absolutely loaded episode of On The Bench. We spend the first 20 minutes of the episode on recruiting -- thoughts on Charles Lester and KJ Bolden, the decommitment of Tawaski Abrams, and a transfer LB target emerges -- before diving in on a really fun interview regarding FSU's 2013 championship squad.

Ebo Entsuah was a walk-on fullback for the Seminoles during their championship run. His memories and insights from that team include some of the special talent around him, trying to block Lamarcus Joyner, the complexity of Jimbo Fisher's offense, and his recollection of Kelvin Benjamin telling coaches that Dameyune Craig was stealing signs.
