EPISODE 16: ALISON ARMSTRONG - renowned thought-leader, speaker and author of THE QUEEN'S CODE and THE AMAZING DEVELOPMENT OF MEN, creator of LUX relationship course Jan 29, 2026

Show notes

This inspired conversation with the positively effervescent Alison Armstrong explores broad terrain ranging from biological and behavioral differences between men and women (and strategies for mitigating those effectively) to the integration of masculinity and femininity, to the unique challenges men face today, to Alison's latest online "extraordinary relationship" course LUX.
Armstrong’s exploration of human behavior began in 1991, with her decision to study men: “To find out how I was bringing out the worst in them. And hopefully, how to bring out the best.” Her success in understanding men naturally led to studying women’s behavior and making vital connections between the two. As her work evolved over decades, Alison now illuminates human characteristics that precede and express themselves regardless of gender, age and upbringing. She distinguishes normal human instincts that compel both men and women to behave in ways that contradict and undermine our own purposes, goals, values, needs and relationships. Besides fulfilling the need to understand “Why” people behave as they do, Alison offers practical, partnership-based alternatives. Through her seminars, books, online programs and media contributions, she has been giving millions of people access to more fulfilling lives, loving relationships, stronger families and
productive organizations.
Alison is a sought-after speaker and thought-leader amongst people with the desire to live empowered lives. Her philosophy and approach are referenced and taught by other authors, speakers, business consultants and therapists. Her live events and over 100 hours of online programs are available at alisonarmstrong.com.

EPISODE 14: ANDRAS JONES - rabble-rousing songwriter, political activist, actor, author and podcaster discusses the personal cost of challenging hostile partisanship Nov 01, 2025

Show notes

ANDRAS JONES is a multi-disciplinary artist (songwriter, actor, author, podcast host & producer, sometimes artist rep) and the kind of rabble-rousing critical thinker who is the bane of partisans of all stripes. His podcasts The Radio8Ball Show and The World Is Wrong both seek to re-contextualize art (in the case of Radio8Ball with music, and film with The World Is Wrong) in a more thoughtful way than is the industry standard. This is the spirit that motivates his other creative endeavors, including his latest album “Recognize, De-escalate & De-code”. In this conversation we delve deeply into what it means for an artist to hold fast to higher ideals, and the profound personal cost of publicly rejecting and calling out the evils of partisan extremism.

EPISODE 13: PRINCE STASH – 1960’s libertine counterculture figure turned tantric alchemist INSTA influencer Jul 01, 2025

Show notes

“The Most Interesting Man In The World” from the Dos Equis commercials has nothing on this guy! A feature in the Guardian described his life as a "rock 'n'roll fairytale full of worldly quests and romances", but even that may not do him justice. In the 1960’s, Prince Stash (née Stanislas Klossowski De Rola, aristocratic son of the renowned painter Balthus) figured prominently as a twenty-something musician/socialite/gadabout in Europe’s eclectic counterculture scene. He played percussion on Beatles records, was pranked by Edith Piaf, introduced Anita Pallenberg to Brian Jones, dated Catherine Deneuve's sister Françoise Dorléac, was also linked to Nico and Marianne Faithful, dropped acid with Pink Floyd, was involved in two different drug busts with members of the Rolling Stones, bailed out by Keith Moon and taken in by Paul McCartney. Stash's youthful libertine ways transmuted over time into a more expansive exploration and mastery of Tantra, and his interest in Alchemy flourished from curiosity into significant literary contribution to the ancient esoteric tradition. Now in his 80’s, Stash lives in a Castle in Italy, and has recently become an INSTAGRAM influencer with a massive following. He is full of wit and old-world charm, his opinions blend wisdom with controversial mischief, and his writings are provocative verging on scandalous. It was a wild ride talking to this entertaining and generous soul!
Follow him on Substack and INSTA, both under “Prince Stash”.

EPISODE 12: WILL HENSHALL partner and CEO of METAL, a premiere community for men Mar 07, 2025

Show notes

Most of us are familiar with the concept of a men's group, which generally brings to mind a small, intimate circle of men sharing openly with each other, supporting each other and generally connecting on a deeper level. The concept of a bigger men's club might, in contrast, evoke images of sports-related organizations, poker nights, or even those old hunting clubs with men sitting in leather armchairs chomping cigars and drinking scotch in oak-paneled rooms with moose antlers on the walls. The idea of a men's community that fosters personal connection and support much like a smaller men's group, but also quite expansively includes a variety of support resources, talks, community activities and professional connections is, however, a whole new concept that METAL is forging new ground with, so to speak. Kindness and connection are the elements that weld this group together, and the only rule is: no politics and no religion! In this inspired conversation, partner and CEO of METAL Will Henshall shares both his own story and a thorough explanation of what METAL is all about and how it serves both its members and humanity.

EPISODE 10: ELDRA JACKSON III from serving a life sentence in prison to serving humanity with a life mission Oct 04, 2024

Show notes

To describe Eldra Jackson III as a "prison reform success story" would not only be a vast understatement; it would also leave unacknowledged the trauma, the trials and the transformation this extraordinary man has gone through to become who he is today. Eldra is an inspiring public speaker, author and co-director of Inside Circle, a healing community in which adult and juvenile inmates are supported in processing their trauma and discovering and expressing their full range of emotions. Having suffered sexual child abuse in his early youth, Eldra eventually spiralled downward into a life of violent criminal and gang activity, which ultimately left him in New Folsom Prison serving what was meant to be a life sentence. He shares with us his story of how supportive, open-hearted men's work in a safe community catalyzed his personal healing and transformation into becoming a leader in that very same group, and beyond.

EPISODE 8: KODAH PIPITONE the man who became a woman who became a man again Oct 04, 2023

Show notes

I met Kodah at an interactive social event in LA and instantly found him to be interesting, charismatic and eloquent. I had no idea about his transgender backstory and experience, but when I was told about it, I knew he would make for a compelling interview subject. Trigger warning: the subject of transgender is controversial and polarized to begin with, and Kodah's story cannot help but serve as a cautionary tale of sorts. That does not mean that Kodah's message, nor the message of this episode is anti-trans in any way. This is the exploration of one man's journey out of and back into manhood and should be taken as such.
Kodah begins with a summary of his life story, offering along the way his own self-analysis of how his journey towards gender transformation unfolded. He also discusses trans culture, some aspects of which he found welcoming and life-affirming, others he found problematic. He describes his direct experience with sissy hypno-porn, the politicization of the trans movement and ventures into other topics that some will find challenging. I believe anyone who gets to know Kodah will not find him to be anti-trans. The Omega Male podcast seeks to explore emergent paradigms, concepts and notions of maleness and is founded upon the spirit of inclusiveness, expansiveness and Love. I hope to have the opportunity to interview both trans men and women in the future to hear more perspectives in this particular domain.
Kodah is a peak performance and leadership facilitator and strategist. His journey has been informed by deep personal transformation at the interaction of gender, tech and anthropology. His career experience spans entrepreneurship, venture strategy and givernment partnerships. Currently facilitating team leadership through the Flow Genome Project.

EPISODE 7: JOHN FUGELSANG renowned political commentator, comedian, TV host, writer, actor and cultural critic May 20, 2023

Show notes

John Fugelsang is a cultural maverick whose glib humor and razor sharp wit provide a reliably entertaining delivery mechanism for his gently challenging views and observations. Imagine an east coast intellectual with a decidedly liberal/progressive disposition who happens to also be a faithful Christian. I call John the "gentleman iconoclast" in that he mercilessly lampoons those who share his faith but not his politics, but always with basic human dignity, respect and humor, even at his most biting.
We talk about being both a father of a son and the son of a father, so-called masculinity in our time, our own notions of manhood, and we expand from there into more philosophical and esoteric directions. Truly a treat to hang with this generous spirit!
