Today we will be interviewing RETIRED ASSISTANT CHIEF GIL PETTY to talk about the making of the film BORDERLINE, starring Charles Bronson. This film came out in 1980 and is considered one of the more realistic portrayals of U.S. Border Patrol Agents and the way the job was done in those days. This film received the support of the Border Patrol and the INS.
Veteran Agents, served as technical advisors during the making of the film. This includes first and foremost the famous “AB Taylor”, legendary PA and sign-cutter, who retired from the Patrol to work with the filming of the movie full time.
