    Everybody Ain't Triggered Sep 11, 2026
    Show notes

Before anybody gets triggered by the title… LISTEN. 😂

Your guy Nerdy G is not attacking mental health. Real anxiety, trauma, PTSD, and other mental-health challenges deserve to be taken seriously.

But we need to talk about something.

Have we reached a point where some people use “I’m triggered” whenever they don’t want to answer a question, complete a responsibility, go somewhere, or explain how they really feel?

In this episode of Oh That’s Random Podcast, Nerdy G discusses:

    • The difference between struggling and avoiding accountability
    • Why people must learn to communicate their feelings
    • Children and adults using mental-health terminology
    • How misusing “triggered” can hurt people who genuinely need support
    • Why isolation isn’t always the answer
    • Being honest when you simply don’t want to do something
    • How our actions influence the way people see us
    • Doing things you don’t necessarily want to do

    Sometimes you’re genuinely triggered.

    Sometimes you’re overwhelmed.

And sometimes… you just don’t want to go get that ice cream. 😂

It’s okay to say that—but be honest, communicate, and take accountability.

    👇 GET IN THE COMMENTS!

Do you think the word “triggered” is being overused?

How can we respect genuine mental-health struggles while still encouraging accountability and honest communication?

El' Mexican Batman Or Ratman Sep 04, 2026
    Show notes

On this episode of Oh That’s Random Podcast, we’re talking about the mysterious vigilante people have nicknamed the Mexican Batman, or as your guy calls him: MB.

According to the story, MB is hunting alleged motorcycle thieves, tying them to lampposts, drawing whiskers on their faces, writing “RAT” across their foreheads, and disappearing before police arrive.

    WAIT A MINUTE… WHAT?! 😂

Is he cleaning up the streets when the police can’t? Is non-lethal vigilantism ever acceptable? Or is MB one mistake away from catching the wrong person—or creating his own real-life rogues’ gallery?

    We’re discussing:

    • Why Batman inspires people differently than Superman
    • MB’s unusual method of stopping alleged thieves
    • Whether vigilantism can ever be justified
    • Why capes are a terrible crime-fighting decision
    • The danger of targeting the wrong person
    • Why MB might need a Robin, Nightwing, or Red Hood
    • Whether this is actually Batman—or Rat-Man

Your guy may be a little biased because y’all already know: DC is my universe!

But MB, if you’re listening, keep your head on a swivel. Real life doesn’t come with comic-book plot armor.

    👇 GET IN THE COMMENTS!

Do you consider MB a hero, a criminal, or somebody who needs to leave crime-fighting to the police?

And be honest: Are the whiskers and the “RAT” forehead hilarious—or is that doing too much? 😂

On this episode of Oh, That's Random Podcast, Nerdy G sits down with upcoming gaming and lifestyle creator Vontae, aka VZA The Ruler, for a conversation about what it's really like trying to build something from the ground up.

We talk about where Vontae's love for gaming started, Street Fighter vs. Mortal Kombat, finding his identity, building confidence, dealing with people who don't have the same hunger, staying consistent when the views aren't there, and learning to stop comparing your Chapter 1 to somebody else's Chapter 20.

Vontae also breaks down his vision of combining gaming, lifestyle, health and personal growth into his content while challenging some of the stereotypes surrounding gamers.

Then Nerdy G shares lessons from his own journey building Nerdy's Umbrella—including losing collaborators, building a team, learning the business side of content creation, experimenting with production, and figuring out how to turn content into an actual brand.

This isn't a conversation from two people pretending the journey is easy.

It's a conversation about BUILDING while you're still building.

When “All-You-Can-Eat” Meets Florida Logic Jul 24, 2026
    Show notes

What happens when a man spends nine hours at Golden Corral and insists that “all-you-can-eat has no clock”? Yeah. I had to talk about it.

In this episode, I react to one of those stories that feels so absurd it has to be from Florida. I get into the fine line between commitment and chaos, why buffet culture brings out something deeply American, and where I actually stop defending Randy’s marathon meal.

But here’s the thing though: this isn’t just about a Golden Corral standoff. I’m also talking about the weird logic we all use when we want to justify doing too much. And honestly, the more I sat with this story, the more it started to feel like a comedy sketch with a little social commentary baked in.

If you like funny podcast commentary, Florida news reactions, and candid hot takes that sound like a real conversation, this one’s for you. I’m sharing my full reaction, a few wild side thoughts, and the one part of Randy’s defense that almost had me on his side.

If you’ve ever looked at a buffet like a personal challenge, this episode will raise a very fair question: where does “all you can eat” actually end?

    Timestamps

    • 0:07 - I set the stage and explain why Florida stays unmatched
    • 1:20 - The Golden Corral story that sounds way too real
    • 3:15 - My case for why Randy almost had a point
    • 7:45 - Where I stop defending the nine-hour buffet run
    • 10:30 - The notebook detail that changes everything
    • 13:40 - Why this story is funny, messy, and oddly relatable
    • 16:20 - My final take on Randy, Golden Corral, and buffet limits

When Men Need That Ya Meannn! Jul 23, 2026
    Show notes

In this episode, I unpack what I think the sermon gets right, where I think it overreaches, and why relationship tension usually isn’t about just sex. It’s also about feeling wanted, feeling heard, and dealing with the stuff couples keep tossing under the rug until it comes back loud.

I talk through the difference between physical intimacy and real connection, why initiation matters more than people admit, and how rejection can build resentment over time. But here’s the thing: I also question the “one-size-fits-all” view of men and relationships. Because some men want closeness before sex, some don’t, and that gap? That’s where things get messy fast.

I’m also sharing why poor communication keeps showing up in arguments that seem to be about one thing but are really about something else entirely. And that part might hit harder than the sermon itself.

If you’ve ever watched a relationship argument turn into five different arguments, this one’s for you. Watch the full episode, then tell me where you land in the comments.

Aye Yo Fam STFU Jul 23, 2026
    Show notes

In this episode, I talk about family hypocrisy, moral grandstanding, and what happens when people shame your choices but disappear the second you need actual support. I’m also asking a bigger question: if something is keeping the lights on, food in the house, and stress off your back, who gets to judge it from the cheap seats?

I get into the money math, the double standards, and why some of the loudest critics are really just uncomfortable with a path they’d never admit makes sense. But wait—this isn’t just about one woman’s rant. It’s about the people who love giving opinions while bringing nothing useful to the table.

If you’ve ever had somebody tell you how to live without offering real help, this one will hit.

    Timestamps

0:06 - I set up today’s reaction and the question behind it

1:50 - The viral clip that kicks off the whole debate

3:14 - My first take on family judgment and survival

8:00 - The money conversation gets very interesting

19:52 - The jealousy question nobody wants to say out loud

20:06 - My final word on support, silence, and staying in your lane

If you’ve got thoughts, I want them. Watch the full episode, then tell me in the comments: should family speak up, step up, or just be quiet?
