And in some parts of the city, there are heated contests for local Council seats. WNYC’s senior politics reporter Brigid Bergin joins us with what we need to know before we walk into that voting booth. Finally, on Friday, thousands of people took to the streets in Times Square and in Brooklyn, to protest the Israeli bombardment of Gaza that has followed that attack.
