Our guest for this episode has over 30 years of experience practicing psychiatry and helping patients with their mental health.
Our Guest: Dr Ram Lakshmanan
Dr Lakshmanan completed his medicine degree in India. After a 2-year training stint in the UK, he moved to Chicago where he completed his psychiatry residency. He then started his private practice in Beaumont, TX in 1990, where he continues to practice today, for now over 28 years. Dr Lakshmanan is board-certified in general psychiatry and addiction-psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He practices out-patient psychiatry with a specialty on treating patients with mood disorders, anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar and alcohol abuse. He is a fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He lives in Beaumont, TX with this wife Sushila and has two grown children.
