Today’s word of the day is ‘rattled’ as in Oilers as in Stanley Cup as in fighting as in the Florida Panthers. That’s right. A Game 3 thrashing by the Panthers and it’s now a 2-1 series lead. The Oilers looked like the Panthers just got to their heads and they couldn’t do anything but fight and commit penalty after penalty. The Panthers are deep, scoring from most shifts. The Oilers rely so much on McDavid and Draisaitl that when they dont produce, they lose. (14:30) The Red Sox called up top prospect Roman Anthony yesterday and he debuted vs the Rays. (11:00) Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner played one of the best tennis matches you’ll ever see in the French Open final. Amazing tennis. What a comeback. Couldn’t believe my eyes. On the opposite side we have Coco Gauff and Aryna Sabalenka. Gauff won her second Grand Slam. Sabalenka won the first set and then was outplayed. After the match… sore loser times a million.
