#365. United's magnificent winning run under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer came to an end, but not before the Norwegian's team beat Arsenal in the FA Cup and staged a thrilling late comeback against Burnley. Ed & Paul discuss all the fallout from United's Cup win at the Emirates and from the draw with Burnley at Old Trafford. Two games, two very different performances, much to discuss. There's a look ahead to United's weekend fixture against Leicester. For backers, we look at some potential summer transfers in areas where Solskjaer's team is in the biggest need.

#364. It wasn't always pretty, but United's victory over Brighton was the seventh in succession under interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The Norwegian may still be an outside bet to land the job full-time, but he's making a very good case. This week Ed & Paul look back on United's 2-1 win at Old Trafford, a victory inspired by Paul Pogba's penalty and Marcus Rashford's stunning goal. There's a look ahead to Friday night's FA Cup Fourth Round tie with Arsenal in London and a brief preview of next week's match with Burnley.

    How Good? Jan 16, 2019
    Show notes

#363. Six wins in a row to start. No United manager has done that before. The question, after United's latest victory over Tottenham at Wembley, is not just how good it feels, but whether a five or 10-year contract should be on the cards for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer? This week Ed & Paul look back on that 1-0 win, inspired by Marcus Rashford's first half goal and yet more proof that David de Gea is the finest goalkeeper in the land. There are plenty of listener questions and for backers a discussion about some of the classic games where United have scored five, four, three, two and one goals.

#362. Four games, four victories - apparently football isn't that difficult after all. The Ole Gunnar Solskjaer regime has got off to the finest possible start, 12 points from 12 over the festive period. On this week's pod, games against Bournemouth and Newcastle - different performances, same victorious results - and a look ahead to Reading in the FA Cup and Spurs in the league.

    Mourinho's Pathetic-Ball Dec 18, 2018
    Show notes

#359. There have been some bad performances at Anfield over the years, but few where United were so thoroughly dominated. Humiliated even. José Mourinho set United up to come away with a scoreless draw. Instead, Liverpool took 36 shots to United's six. Just one barometer of how completely Mourinho has failed at the club. It is surely time for the manager to go. On this week's pod, Ed & Paul discuss all the fallout from United's defeat to Liverpool. It is a result that leaves the club 12 points away from Champions League qualification and 19 off the top. The worst season since 1990. There's a preview of upcoming games against Cardiff and Huddersfield and a look ahead to United's Champions League fixtures with PSG.

    José Calling Nov 28, 2018
    Show notes

#357. José Mourinho enjoyed it. Marouane Fellaini enjoyed it. But did the watching public enjoy it? The Belgian's late winner against Young Boys ensured qualification for the Champions League Round of 16, but it capped another mediocre performance in a mediocre week from Mourinho's team. Ed & Paul discuss United's games against Young Boys and Crystal Palace, concluding that despite victory on Tuesday, it has been another disappointing few days for the club.

Nice and Easy Nov 14, 2018
    Show notes

#356. In typically farcical fashion, José Mourinho claimed Manchester City had “everything nice and easy” ahead of the Blues' thumping victory over United in the derby last weekend. The excuse-ladened fallout from United's beating at the hands of the club's most bitter rivals to capped a week of mixed fortune. Also on this week's pod, a look back at a dramatic victory over Juventus in Turin. Even if the performance was as mixed as any this season, the result sent a raucous away support home happy. It was a joy to last just a few days.
