Is Consciousness a Nested Quantum Field? with Christopher Noël Sep 30, 2026

Show notes

Christopher Noël holds a Master’s degree in philosophy from Yale University and a Master’s in Fine Arts from Vermont College of Fine Arts where he taught writing for 20 years. He also researches the phenomenon of Sasquatch. He is author of several books, including There is No Veil: At Play in the Vast Here and Now, UAPs and the Afterlife: How New Disclosures Support Centuries of Psychic and Spiritual Research, and The Anatomy of Thin Air: Practical Solutions to Paranormal Mysteries. His website is thenearnessofyou.net.

Christopher proposes a theory of consciousness that may account for the nature of existence and parapsychological phenomena, such as psychokinesis, remote viewing, and mediumship. He suggests it as a nested field that is co-located and moves within quantum fields. Bridging science and spirituality, he includes physical matter within his theory.

Here is how the Nested Field Theory applies to object levitation, aka anti-gravity without technology:

Personhood with James Tunney (4K Reboot) Sep 27, 2026

Show notes

James Tunney, LLM, is an Irish barrister who has lectured on legal matters throughout the world. He is a poet, a scholar, and author of The Mystery of the Trapped Light: Mystical Thoughts in the Dark Age of Scientism plus The Mystical Accord: Sutras to Suit Our Times, Lines for Spiritual Evolution; also Empire of Scientism: The Dispiriting Conspiracy and Inevitable Tyranny of Scientocracy and TechBondAge: Slavery of the Human Spirit.

In this reboot originally released in 2021, James shares his knowledge of the philosophical tradition of personalism – a movement that has touched many other disciplines and that emphasizes the unique rights and responsibilities of personhood. He points out that there are countervailing tendencies in society that would treat humans more as machines, or as animals, rather than as persons. There are also movements that would grant personhood to robots, animals, and even deities. Tunney expresses his concern that individuals not give away their personal sovereignty.

Soul Initiation with Bill Plotkin (4K Reboot) Sep 24, 2026

Show notes

Bill Plotkin, PhD, is the founder of the Animas Valley Institute in Durango, CO. He is author of Soulcraft: Crossing Into the Mysteries of Nature and Psyche, Nature and the Human Soul: Cultivating Wholeness and Community in a Fragmented World, Wild Mind: A Field Guide to the Human Psyche, and The Journey of Soul Initiation: A Field Guide for Visionaries, Evolutionaries, and Revolutionaries.

Here he explains his use of the term "soul" as relating to an individual's unique ecological niche in mythopoetic terms. He points out that soul initiation is not the same as a vision quest, a hero's journey, psychotherapy, nor a rite of passage. It can be a very lengthy process involving a dissolution of the ego. He shares many details of the process, relating it to the biological transformation of a caterpillar to butterfly. He also describes Carl Gustav Jung's soul initiation as documented in the Red Book.

Understanding Dante’s Inferno with Mark Booth Sep 21, 2026

Show notes

Mark Booth is the author of several comprehensive books including The Sacred History: How Angels, Mystics, and Higher Intelligence Made Our World, The Secret History of the World, The Secret History of the Universe: How Ancient Wisdom Made the Modern World, and The Secret History of Dante: Unearthing the Mysteries of the Inferno.

Mark explores the esoteric and initiatory dimensions of Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy, linking the poet’s vivid journey through Hell, Purgatory, and Heaven to the ancient mystery-school traditions that survived in the Knights Templar. He examines Dante’s close connection to Brunetto Latini, the Templars’ influence on the poem’s cosmology and imagery, and the ways Dante’s unconsummated love for Beatrice elevates romantic love into a cosmic, spiritual force. Booth also discusses how Dante’s experience of initiation beneath the streets of Florence, his portrayal of contemporary figures in Hell, and his vision of a universe moved entirely by love reveal a hidden mystical current running through medieval Catholicism and Western culture.
