New Discourses Bullets, Ep. 80 Entryism (https://newdiscourses.com/2023/12/communist-entryism/) is the idea of infiltrating an institution with hostile subversives. It's a name for a variety of strategies for getting them in where they're not wanted. DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) programs achieve an entryist goal through an indirect method that involves a bit of randomness. That is, they're stochastic entryism. The way they work is to increase the probability of hiring people who are activists or who can be made activists through further training without intentionally selecting for activists in a direct way. This maintains plausible deniability about the goal of the program. Simultaneously, it pushes people who reject the Woke Marxist ideology out, but again, apparently at random. The New Discourses Podcast with James Lindsay, Episode 134 Fascism wasn't just a "bad thing" that happened in the first half of the twentieth century, and it's not just a bogus word the Left throws around today about everyone and everything it doesn't like. It was an explicit totalitarian ideology of state power that arose as a reaction to Communist provocation and libertine excesses in the 1920s and 1930s. That doesn't go far enough in describing it, though. It is, in fact, the dialectical antithesis of Marxism and libertinistic "liberalism," which is to say that it is an ideology that has many things in common with Marxism while positioning itself as its philosophical and political opposite. Proceeding in five steps, it looks like this. First, they demand access. Once in, they demand accommodation, which will be weaponized according to their ability to take offense at everything. Then they'll demand a seat at the table, which is to say access to power. That will quickly expand to demanding to control the table and setting the rules.
