After encountering God, conviction didn’t come all at once but it came clearly. What followed was the hardest decision we have ever made: choosing obedience, even when it cost us everything we thought our life would look like.

In this episode, we share the real story behind our separation. Not from a place of shame, but from transformation. We talk about the days and moments leading up to our decision, the wrestling, the prayers, the fear, and the surrender. We explain why we chose God over our marriage and how that choice wasn’t rooted in pressure, religion, or people’s opinions, but in a deep reverence for the Lord.

This is not a story about loss. It’s a story about obedience, freedom, and trusting God with what matters most. We open up about what it meant to lay everything on the altar and believe that God is good, even when His way is costly.

We loved each other deeply, but without realizing it, we had placed our relationship above obedience, above truth, and ultimately above God. What we once called love, God lovingly exposed as misplaced devotion.

This episode walks through the conviction, the tension, and the internal wrestling that came with realizing that even good things can become idols when they take God’s rightful place. We share how God began stripping away false definitions of love and teaching us what surrender really looks like.
