Daniel Dewaye Moser, known to many as Danny, was born on December 18, 1973, and raised in Casper, Wyoming. A friendly and outgoing man, Danny had a passion for animals, leading him to become a master groomer. He married Chasity, becoming a loving stepfather to her son, Johnathan, and, later, a father to their daughter, Lauren. Although his marriage to Chasity ended in divorce, Danny’s devotion to Lauren remained unwavering. On October 25, 2001, Danny's life was tragically cut short when he was found severely beaten and fatally injured in a parking lot in Mills, Wyoming. Despite extensive investigations, including surveillance footage of two men seen leaving a bar with Danny that night, his case has gone cold, leaving his family and daughter Lauren still seeking justice for his unsolved murder.

Today, we explore the tragic disappearances of Arrilla Webb-Vaul and Dodie Gay, two young women who vanished just months apart from the same shopping mall in 1979. Arrilla, a 23-year-old housewife, and Dodie, a 17-year-old high school student, were full of life and promise. Their cases are chillingly similar, with too many coincidences to ignore.
Arrilla’s car was found abandoned near the Jimmie Davis Bridge in Shreveport, Louisiana, with a punctured tire. Witnesses saw a man approach her car, but Arrilla was never seen again. Dodie disappeared from the same shopping mall just a month later. Her car, also with slashed tires, was found in the parking lot. Dodie’s body was discovered weeks later, but her murder remains unsolved. Both families were left devastated, searching for answers and closure that would never come. In this episode, we dive into their lives, the investigation, and the heartache of those left behind. These women were more than just victims of tragic disappearances; they were daughters, sisters, and friends whose futures were cruelly stolen. Grew up quickly and became a mother at a young age, where she thrived. Brenda's life took a mysterious and heartbreaking turn when she disappeared on July 26, 1992, shortly after her youngest child's birthday party. Her disappearance, coupled with the later disappearance of her friend Mark Cook, raised suspicions. Decades later, Brenda's family continues to seek justice and closure, hoping to one day bring her home and lay her to rest alongside her parents. Brenda's case remains a haunting reminder of the vulnerabilities faced by those trapped in abusive relationships.

Her disappearance remains a chilling mystery, with suspicions swirling around her last known contact, Erik McFadden, who has since gone missing as well. Despite extensive investigations and a $20,000 reward, Sage’s case remains unsolved, leaving her family desperately seeking answers and justice.

South Carolina : Linda McCord, Sarah Boyd, and Kimberly Boyd Jul 29, 2024

This week, we highlight the tragic case of three missing victims: Linda McCord, Sarah Boyd, and her daughter Kimberly Boyd. On April 3, 1987, they vanished after attending a gospel concert in Waterloo, South Carolina. Linda's blue Lincoln broke down, leading to their disappearance. Despite efforts, including a suspicious vehicle move by Linda’s husband, John, no trace has been found. Rhode Island : Roy Weber Jul 22, 2024

Born in 1981 near San Diego, Roy moved to Newport, Rhode Island. His troubled childhood, marked by his father's departure and substance abuse, led to multiple runaway incidents and a state group home placement.
As a teen, Roy turned to sex work to fund his drug habit. He frequented adult video stores in downtown Providence and befriended Rich Holcomb, who shared a similar lifestyle. Despite legal troubles, Roy's situation worsened.
On December 25, 2003, Roy's body was found near Johnson & Wales University, shot in the head. Despite investigation, his murderer remains unidentified.
In Roy's memory, Rich Holcomb founded Project Weber in 2008, now Project Weber/RENEW, to aid male sex workers with resources and support. Alicia Bernice Markovich was born on February 20, 1972, to John and Marcy Markovich in Pennsylvania. Raised by a young mother, Alicia grew up loved and active. On April 26, 1987, at 15, she vanished after an argument with her father in Blairsville, Pennsylvania. Despite extensive searches and an enigmatic letter, her fate remains unknown.

Wendy Dehoop dropped her husband off at his job outside Eugene, Oregon, on Friday, April 22, 2005, before heading to her shift at the Georgia Pacific Mill. She was never seen again. Her purse and car would be recovered on two separate days, but no sign of Wendy.

The FBI found no connection to other local missing women cases. Ashley remains missing, and the family continues to search for her.

North Dakota : Olivia Long Bear Jun 17, 2024

Olivia Keri Lone Bear, also known as “Cedar Woman,” was born on October 11, 1985, to Iris Sherman-Four Bear and Harley Texx, Lone Bear, and was a beloved member of the Dripping Dirt clan. Despite her adventurous spirit and deep love for her five children, Olivia's life was tragically cut short in 2017 when she went missing from New Town, North Dakota. After an exhaustive search led by her determined family, Olivia's body was discovered in July 2018, buckled into the passenger seat of a submerged truck in Lake Sakakawea. The investigation into her mysterious death continues, with law enforcement yet to determine the cause or identify those responsible.
The FBI is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the resolution of her case, urging anyone with knowledge to come forward.

The lack of resolution over the years compounds the anguish for Tammy's family, with her father, Richard, passing away without knowing the truth. Melissa and Whitney's recent action-oriented advocacy effort involved a visit to Tammy's grave and the site where she was found, accompanied by a mailout campaign. Shanta was in the process of being adopted by Susan Marie Davis Johnson and Willie Johnson, her foster parents. However, during a family trip to Myrtle Beach, tragedy struck. Susan claimed that she lost sight of Shanta while shopping at a K-Mart department store, and the young girl was never seen again. Today, we remember all the United States military members that are no longer with us, like Army Specialist Jose Juan Melendez Jr, who was shot and killed in Raleigh, North Carolina. Jose was just 31 years old and the designated driver for a night out with friends when around 3:20 am, Jose was walking to his vehicle parked at his friend's apartment complex when someone pulled out a gun and shot him multiple times before fleeing the area. A neighbor witnessed the murderer running away, called for help, and waited beside Jose as he took his last breath. It has been five and a half years, and we are no closer to finding out who took the life of an exceptional man. Margaret Fox was the only daughter in a house full of boys. At 14 years old she was beginning to come into her femininity and wanted to start earning her own money so she could purchase her own items. New clothes, accessories, maybe even take an occasional horseback riding lesson. Like many teenage girls, babysitting was one of the first ways Margaret would be able to earn money. Margaret and her cousin’s ad in the newspaper drew attention from potential clients immediately. After accepting an opportunity to watch a 5-year-old boy, making a plan, and discovering the route to and from, Margaret was ready for her first real job. When she didn’t return that afternoon as she was originally scheduled her parents grew worried. They set out looking for Margaret and when they came up empty-handed, law enforcement got involved. A strange phone call would come into the family’s household followed by 2 letters with ransom demands.

Michael McClain was a young man living his best life. He graduated college with a degree in criminal justice and started working for a non-profit helping autistic children. After a night out with friends on April 20th, 2019 everything would change and Michael has not been seen since. A series of weird calls and texts were sent from Michael's phone that night and along with surveillance cameras police have been able to determine a timeline for that night up until 3:30 am when he just vanishes. On May 21st Sara and some friends had met up to go dancing at the Shark Club just off the Vegas strip when Sara’s future was taken. A botched robbery attempt turned into murder and now three decades later, the killer still roams free.

On December 4th, 2006 Steven Haataja's day was completely normal. He went to work at Chadron State College, taught his classes, at pizza for dinner but by the next morning, Steven would vanish. It would take three months to find his body which was less than a mile from the college. Steven was bound to a tree and his entire body was burned. With a staged crime scene that made it look like a gang-related home invasion, Jon's lack of an alibi, and the extramarital affairs Jon had, he would be the only person to ever be named a suspect. Jarrod Johnston was an 18-year-old young man spending his summer vacation before his senior year in Yazoo City Mississippi. He was incredibly smart, talented, and spontaneous with dreams of becoming a musician. While Jarrod was in Mississippi he had told his parents he made plans to stay with a friend. When the friend’s parents determined he had overstayed his welcome a few days later, they took him to his grandmother’s house where Jarrod was not allowed to stay. A heated argument between Jarrod and his grandmother ensued and Jarrod stormed off. Having a history of needing some space to cool off, Jarrod’s parents didn’t worry too much at first and thought he was staying at his girlfriend's. Jarrod walking off that day with his guitar case, a black duffle bag, a backpack and $20 in his pocket was the last time his family laid eyes on him.

Levi was riding his bike home in the evening hours after hanging out with friends but never arrived. His mom and twin sister started searching right away without any sign of him. His body would be found the very next day inside the Dawson Forest Wildlife Management area in a rain-filled pit. He had been shot three times, once in the upper body and twice in the head.

California : Keddie Cabin Murders Oct 31, 2022

In 1981, four people were brutally murdered in the town of Keddie, California. Inside cabin 28 of the Keddie Resort is where this awful crime occured. Sue Sharp, her son John, and his friend Dana Wingate were savagely killed with a claw hammer and a steak knife that was left at the crime scene. Sue’s daughter Tina was kidnapped that day and her remains wouldn't be found for three years. Three younger boys sleeping in a bedroom were left completely unharmed. One of those boys was a neighbor named Justin who had a very vivid dream or was it? He described in detail what he thought was a dream at first, but there are many similarities of what really happened that night. Could he be the sole witness to this horrible crime? Arkansas : Danick Marie Adams Oct 24, 2022

18 year old mother, Danick Marie Adams was brutally murdered leaving the gym in the small town of Jacksonville, Arkansas after spending the day with a friend. Was it a robbery gone wrong or was Danick the target of a planned attack? When her car passed the crime scene later that evening, law enforcement stopped the vehicle and the driver ran. A female passenger was left to answer the authorities questions.

On July 1, 1995, Erin Marie Gilbert had a date with a man she had met about a month prior. He was taking her to the Girdwood Forest Fair for the evening. When her date says his car wont start because of a dead battery, he asks Erin to stay at the vehicle while he goes for help. Two hours later he returned to the car and Erin was nowhere to be seen. An extensive search ensued but no answers have been found.

Shannon Paulk, was just 11 years old when she went missing from a mobile home park in Prattville, Alabama. Her remains were found two months later about ten miles away from her last known location. She was found inside a black plastic trash bag and her body was bound with rope. This sweet and spunky pre-teen was known to spend most of her summer days visiting neighbors, playing with her friends, and just having a great time outside. A few suspicious neighbors and kids that may have provided authorities with incorrect information was pretty much all that has been released about the investigation. As we have learned through countless victims, this is an all too common occurrence.
the Department of Defense conducted a survey resulting in an estimate that 26,000 service members experienced some form of unwanted sexual contact, from groping to rape, in the year 2012. Many of the men and women reported these incidents to proper authorities with an unknown outcome.

Wyoming : Don Kemp Aug 29, 2022

Don Kemp was a hot shot advertising executive on Madison Avenue in New York during the 70s and 80s. A major accident left him questioning his life. It took years for him to recover and when he did, he decided to sell off all his belongings and move to a slower paced life in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Don was obsessed with the Abraham Lincoln assassination and decided he would live in a cabin and write a book about the historical event. He almost made it to his destination after a very long road trip when his vehicle was found running on the side of the road, but Don was nowhere in sight. Three days of searching leads to very little clues to what happened to Don Kemp.

Over three decades have passed since Susan Poupart was seen getting into a vehicle after a friend’s party. The 29 year old indigenous mother would be found 6 months after her disappearance murdered and left in the woods miles away from her home town of Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin. Susan’s children are still seeking justice for their mother who was an active member of the community. Indigenous women are murdered at a rate 10 times higher than any other ethnicity.

Roberta Elam was on her way to becoming a full-fledged nun when her life was taken at only 26 years old. She was described as a happy, energetic, educated woman fiercely devoted to her faith. Sister Robin, as she was known at the convent, was on a silent retreat when, in broad daylight, she was murdered by an unknown man. All leads dried up quickly, and her case became cold, but Sister Robin’s case could be solved with the ever-evolving DNA technology.

Rosie Tapia was what her family would describe as a dramatic, funny, and beautiful six year old girl and that is how she will forever be remembered. In the early morning hours of August 13th, 1995 someone climbed through her bedroom window while her family slept nearby and stole her from her bed. She was found a few hours later, a few miles away in a canal that runs behind her apartment complex. It has been 27 years and no one has ever been charged with Rosie’s murder.

July 16, 2018 was set to be a core memory for Danniella Vian. After working double shifts for months to save enough money to purchase her own vehicle, Danniella went down to Pearl Motors in Mobile, Alabama and drove away in a 2014 Chevy Cruz. This was the first step to gaining custody of her daughter and building a life together. Danniella went out that night with friends to celebrate and would never be seen alive again. Almost a year later, Danniella's Chevy Cruz was found submerged in a Bayou 17 miles north of where Danniella was last known to be. When investigators were able to search, human remains were found inside later to be identified as Danniella.
