Celebrity stylist Karla Welch on dressing famous people, social activism and the power of a good pair of Levi's Mar 26, 2020
    Show notes

Named one of Hollywood's Top 10 Power Stylists of the decade, Karla Welch showed up to Catt's bedroom looking enviably cozy chic. Down-to-earth and passionate, Karla is the woman behind some of your favorite celebrity looks - from Olivia Wilde to Busy Philipps and Justin Bieber - she has dressed them all.

But being a revered stylist is a lot more than putting together an outfit; Karla's distinct approach involves creating looks for each celebrity that represent the best version of themselves. From designing 'fits for Justin Bieber's tour, to the logistical chaos that takes place behind-the-scenes while prepping for the Oscars, Karla spills all.

She also opens up about her personal life - like how she first met her husband while she was working as a server at a restaurant in Canada, and how she credits her parents for her rigorous work ethic. Karla also shares how she's been using her power to advocate for causes she believes in -- like through her collaboration with Levi's that raised money for gun control and her spicy IG posts.

Also in this episode, Catt reminisces about what it was like to work with a stylist(for the first time ever!) when she landed at E!, after years of styling herself on local broadcast TV.

Karla and Catt also swap stories about the one and only... Oprah!
