Ep29 Troubleshooting zero issues and how much do you have to pay for a good setup? Oct 31, 2022
    Show notes

Brady and I discuss various topics and hit a couple good topics that I think y'all will be interested in. Zero issues and shifts will drive a guy crazy if you don't know what things can and do effect it. I see a lot of guys changing their zero when their gun may actually be zeroed, but other things are making it appear to be off. We talk about things that we watch for and when we will or won't change our zero. We also discuss the price tag of high-end setups and if they are worth it. We answer the question, "can you get something better for less money?"

Ep28 Pre-Match Wind and Load Development with Paul Higley Oct 06, 2022
    Show notes

Paul and I discuss our process for preparing for wind before a match and the differences in wind at different locations. Then we get into the science of accuracy and load development.

Ep26 Mansplaining: Becoming Unconsciously Competent Sep 30, 2022
    Show notes

This episode I talk about a topic that has been on my mind for quite a while; unconscious competence and processing capacity. This is a pretty cerebral topic, but I feel like it is one that explains a lot of issues shooters have and sheds light on where we should focus our efforts in practice in order to improve.

    Thanks for listening!

Ep25 Target Acquisition The Forgotten Stressor Sep 27, 2022
    Show notes

Brady Allinson and I talk about what the main stressor categories are. We also add one, that is usually not talked about by shooters and match directors, to the list: target acquisition. Target acquisition, in my opinion is one of the most overlooked skills to develop in this game. I believe increasing your efficiency in finding targets is one of the only ways you can see immediate results in your match performances. I hope you enjoy the episode!

    Ep24 Q/A: Kestrels-Wind, AJ, and Data Sep 23, 2022
    Show notes

On this episode I solo it to answer some listener questions related to Kestrels and how I use them. I talk about how I use them to develop a wind call, how to set them up to give correct crosswind jump (AJ or aerodynamic jump), and how I true my data.

    Thanks for listening!

    Show notes

Paul and I look take some time to look back at the IPRF World Championship that took place in France and share our thoughts on the event. We discus what we thought they did right and what could have been better. We look at the course of fire and what made is so awesome. We talk about why this event was so big for our sport. We talk about the results, how each of us finished, and I talk about my rifle issue. At the end we answer a listener question. I am going to try and incorporate more listener questions into the format going forward as they provide a way for listeners to get involved and start productive discussions. Thanks for listening!
