Jinkies! Hey Gang! It’s another episode of Mystery Inc with the Waters brothers - this one the focus is on the mysterious Amber Room and the infamous Mexican serial killer known as the Little Old Lady Killer!
The Amber Room was stolen by the Nazis during WWII and disappeared. How could an entire room made of amber disappear? Shane lays out all the theories!
Josh presents the case of the Little Old Lady Killer, Juana Dayanara Barraza Samperio. She was sentenced to 759 years for murder and aggravated burglary. Juana is believed to have murdered about 40 victims, strangling them with objects taken from their home!

6: More Balloons, Aliens, and Giants Mar 01, 2023

Jinkies! Hey Gang! The Waters brothers are back with another Mystery Inc episode - but first we have some mystery updates!
In Episode 2 we talked about how Church of Scientology Leader David Miscavige’s wife Shelly Miscavige has been missing for over 15 years! WELL David was just served 27 times for a federal lawsuit accusing him of human trafficking. David has been hiding and actively concealing his whereabouts for the last 10 months.
In Episode 3 we talked about Weather Balloons during our topic on the Battle of Los Angeles - and during the unmasked episode we joked about blaming everything on weather balloons. Then enter the Chinese spy balloon disguised as a weather balloon - and suddenly everyone’s eyes were in the sky… causing real weather balloons to be mistaken for “Unidentified Flying Objects” - or more spy balloons.
Shane’s mystery topic of choice for the episode is a UFO sighting that is both credible and interesting - an event known as the Phoenix Lights. This event happened on March 13, 1997, when thousands of people in Arizona, Nevada, California, and Mexico reported seeing a V-shaped object in the sky that was several hundred feet wide and several miles long! It’s one of the most well-known and well-documented UFO sighting in American History.
The topic then turns to Josh, who discusses the Nephilim. The Nephilim are mysterious beings or people (according to the Hebrew bible) who are described as a race of giants. Some believe they are the hybrid children of fallen angels. Goliath, from the story David and Goliath, was reported to be a Nephilim.

5: Gettysburg, Ghosts, and Princesses Feb 15, 2023

Jinkies! Hey Gang! The Waters brothers are back with another Mystery Inc episode - this time fresh from their drive to Gettysburg (but more on that in a moment).
Josh starts with the first story, which comes from one of his favorite animated princess movies Anastasia. The villain in the movie is based on the real life person Grigori Rasputin - a Russian mystic and self-proclaimed holy man. Rasputin is an interesting character, whose 'member' is in a museum in Russia.
Shane's story is themed from the Waters' trip to Gettysburg - a good ole ghost story! And a very credible one at that! Did a ghost from the Battle of Gettysburg give two men civil war cartridges?

3: Nazis, Aliens, and Weather Balloons Jan 15, 2023

Jinkies! Hey Gang, welcome to our third episode of Mystery Inc.
The first part of our conversation is about the Nazi bell, also known as Die Glocke. The bell was a weapon that was created by the Nazis and is still up for speculation today. The Germans are responsible for many inventions that we use today, including the V2 rocket. Many question if the Bell ever really existed, although some evidence for it does exist. But after WW2 the Bell mysteriously seemingly disappeared, or did it?
The conversation turns to the second mystery topic - the mysterious event that happened the night of February 25th, 1942 in Los Angeles, California, known as The Battle of Los Angeles. The incident began around 2:25am when a radar operator at a military installation near LA detected an unidentified flying object moving at a high rate of speed toward the city 25 miles off the coast. What follows is a full blown military full alert and the city's air defense system being activated. The city was under attack, with many citizens and military personnel seeing the object.

2: Corruption, Lies, and Mysteries Dec 29, 2022

Hey gang! The brothers discuss a chihuahua they believe to be spoiled. The chihuahua is five years old and is allegedly spoiled by being given ice water and being allowed to sleep on the bed. The brothers also discuss how the chihuahua was caught stealing ham on one occasion.
The conversation starts with a discussion of a mystery Shane discovered when he spots a tweet from actress Leah Remini. Leah Remini also hosted and produced a show called Scientology and the Aftermath and has a podcast called Fair Game.
In a tweet, Leah talks about how Shelly Miscavige, the wife of Scientology's leader David Miscavige, has been missing for over 15 years. Leah alleges that the LAPD possibly mishandled the missing person case and provided emails showing a very friendly relationship between the detectives and the Church of Scientology. But this mystery deepened for Shane when mysterious propaganda twitter accounts started @ him after he tweeted about Shelly's disappearance.
The topic then moves over to Josh's subject on Spiritualism during the Victorian time and supernatural swindlers. Spiritualism took flight around 1850, during the next 100 years countless victims would be scammed by mostly con-artists. Were all the accounts due to sleight of hand and some smoke paper? Or was there any actual evidence of communication with spirit?
