Xbox And PlayStation Make a Deal! - My Xbox And Me 418 Jul 25, 2023

Show notes

The deal is done… or at least a deal is done. Microsoft has done the impossible and locked a deal with PlayStation to keep Call of Duty on the Sony platform for the next 10 years. Negotiations continue with the CMA to pass the deal in the UK but there is light at the end of this never ending tunnel of the Activision Xbox merger.

In other Xbox news it’s an end of an era with the death of Xbox Live and the one and only Major Nelson leaving Microsoft. Xbox Live users will automatically transferred to Games Pass Core and will receive 25 free games as a taste of what Game Pass has to offer.

MC Fixer, Paul Despawn and Matt are answering your questions about this year of gaming so far, the best and worse sequels ever made and the want for more Xbox Dashbaord.

The Playstion Showcase Was ..... OK - My Xbox And Me #409 May 27, 2023

Show notes

This week on My Xbox and Me we’re chatting all about… PlayStation!?

Sony have kicked off this summer of gaming with a brand new showcase and it’s had mixed reception. Thye showed off new Alan Wake 2 footage and gave us a good look at Spider-Man 2 gameplay but where are their exclusive?

Games we expected to see were notably missing including Silent Hill 2 Remake and The Last of Us Factions. So, is 2024 due to be a dead year for PlayStation players? Is this Xbox’s oppertunity to catch up?!

Let’s chat about it!

New Fromsoft Game coming soon?! - My Xbox And Me Podcast #363 Jul 03, 2022

Show notes

Hayao Miyazaki has confirmed the next From Software game is nearing the end of development! But what could it possibly be? Bloodborne 2? A new Dark Souls? Armoured Core?... It’s Amourned Core!

In other news Skull and Bones may launch this November, Creative Assembly is working on a new PvPvE shooter and we come to the conclusion that all video game trailers suck… kind of!

And finally, the boys get sexy, pitching their Xbox franchise dating sims!
