#030: Why Focusing on the Details is a SuperPower #Shorts Jan 19, 2022
    Show notes

Maybe you founded a startup or maybe you are a specialist and educator in the NoCode space, or perhaps you're trying to pick up No-Code tools with a view to create a company in the future.

Whatever the case may be, there will come a time (and it probably has already happened to you) where your decisions will impact people beyond yourself. This is where details could make all the difference.

Today, I'll share a few thoughts on what it means to be detail-oriented, why this is a skill worth cultivating, and how to go about building the "Detail" muscle.

    #029 - A Magic Link to Improve Authentication w/Sean Li Jan 15, 2022
    Show notes

Authentication for Web3. That’s the topic we’re discussing today with the Sean Li, the founder of Magic. I was immediately taken by Sean’s humility and the way he outlined his journey all the way from his early days playing jazz to his 3 person startup getting acquired Docker and finally how he came up with the idea for Magic. We talk specifically about the differences in identity going from Web 2 to Web 3, and how NoCode intersects with the Decentralized web. I think you’re going to really enjoy this deeply personal and impactful conversation with Sean. Let’s get to it!

#027: Creative Fundraising for your Small Business w/JP and Laurits Jan 08, 2022
    Show notes

Alright. Today, I’d like to share a really creative way for small business owners (including those online buisnesses of course!) to raise funds without relinquishing control of their business. Yes! A system for partial exits where vetted companies are able to raise funds from vetted investors. And who does all this vetting? It’s a company called Bits for Digits!

I had a chance to sit down with Jan Peters and Laurits, founders of Bits for Digits, and talk about this unique concept! Refreshing is the word I’d use to describe how it felt talking to them! They’re using their previous career experience in fintech with the likes of Google, Facebook and Blackrock to help founders of small businesses - and here’s the kicker: their webapp is built with 100% NoCode tools. You’re gonna want to hang onto every word of this story.

Are you ready? Let’s get into it!

#026: A simple and massively effective app builder for the masses by JotForm w/Art Dec 04, 2021
    Show notes

Have you used an online form builder? For most people, a form builder was the first drag-and-drop tool they picked up, without even calling it a NoCode tool. And for hundreds of thousands of people, that tool was JotForm. Built as a bootstrapped business from Day 1, JotForm has grown to over 300 employees organically, and along the way become a household name for anyone that does something on the web.

Recently, they've been making the headlines with their latest product - JotForm Apps, a NoCode app builder for the masses. I sit down with Arthur West from JotForm to talk all about how JotForm Apps was built, who should use it and what differentiates it from other solutions in the market. Specifically we also dig into why JotForm apps makes it easy for any offline business to have an online presence.

    #025: Building NoCode in Public w/KP (Part 2) Nov 19, 2021
    Show notes

If you've used a NoCode tool or built something in public, today's guest needs no introduction. That's right - today, I have the pleasure of sitting down with KP. KP has built possibly the largest NoCode community on Twitter, and championed the cause of Building in Public as a way to grow your audience. Last time I shared the first part of our conversation and today it's time for Part 2! If you haven't listened to Part 1, I'd recommend starting there. First, we talk about KP's new role as a dad, his work at ODNC and how the program is structured, and how a $19 you dummy course started as no-code journey today. In Part 2, we dig into no-code at work, how consistency is at the heart of Build in Public and KP's experience in the world of NFTs.

KP also makes a ton of bold predictions on this episode and I'm curious to hear what you think about them. Write to me at host@myocodestory.com.

    #024: Building NoCode in Public w/KP (Part 1) Oct 30, 2021
    Show notes

If you've used a NoCode tool or built something in public, today's guest needs no introduction. That's right - today, I have the pleasure of sitting down with KP. KP has built possibly the largest NoCode community on Twitter, and championed the cause of Building in Public as a way to grow your audience. And he lives by example - you'll see him build, fail, build again and ask questions in public - and his trajectory proves that this approach works. He makes it look easy, but it isn't - staying consistent while Building in Public is key and today KP tells us how he does it.

KP also spends his time leading the NoCode Fellowship at OnDeck and I've been following his success ever since he kicked off the very first ODNC #1.

Before we get into today's episode, just a quick note that I'm trying something different. I've turned this conversation into a two-part series and today you'll listen to Part 1.

#023: The Power of Focus and Quabbly's Story w/Ernest David Oct 10, 2021
    Show notes

It's time for #23 and today I have with me, the co-founder of Quabbly - Ernest David. I feel like I've said this so many times, but the NoCode ecosystem is a gift that keeps on giving. Quabbly was a product that I didn't know until this interview. . And having spoken with Ernest, I'm glad someone is building a tool specifically for teams to build internal applications. Quabbly boasts have a global team spread across Canada and Nigeria. And Ernest who is based in Lagos, Nigeria tells me how he built Quabbly with his co-founder during the 2020 pandemic lockdown. We also talk about how more NoCode founders should leverage laser-focus as a key weapon and so much more! All in all, it was a really enjoyable and valuable chat. Hope you like it! #022: The New Way to (No) Code is Code2 w/Mustafa Oct 02, 2021
    Show notes

Are you guys ready for a new discovery? Today's story is with the founder of a NoCode platform called Code2.io, and I bet you have not heard of this. Code2 is a company out of Turkey that I just came across a few weeks back and immediately reached out to Mustafa, the founder, because it looked like they were doing something special. And what I learned after speaking with Mustafa is that you could build a phenomenal product and still stay really humble, be true to yourself and share what you actually learned as part of your journey. Mustafa shares his journey which has spanned over 20 years. Starting with a degree in computer science, using all the knowledge he gained to build something that other NoCode founders could leverage. He shares the ups and downs of his story and make sure you listen all the way to the end, because he gives a framework comprising four things that founders must absolutely focus on if they're trying to build a company from the ground up. #021: All about the Enterprise w/Seth Fannin Sep 26, 2021
    Show notes

I am so excited to share this one with you guys. Today's story has so many tangible takeaways for new NoCode users, that I think I'm going to recommend this episode as a "Start Here" for people interested in the NoCode space. My guest on the show today is Seth Fannin. And I think he's shared information about 10 NoCode tools in the first 10 minutes - absolutely packed with info! We dig into what set learned from his failures and spend a ton of time on defining the NoCode space, specifically talking about Enterprise NoCode and we did something that's a first for the show, a Use-Case Jam, where we spent five minutes going through a bunch of NoCode use cases for small enterprise teams. I think I'm going to be doing more of those! Nuff said - I'm thrilled that Seth agreed to be on, and I hope that you get a ton out of this story.
