We set out to produce short daily devotionals we like to call a Daily Dose of Heaven. Now with over 4 million downloads and a worldwide community of listeners, we invite you to join us each weekday for a Bible reading, some daily devotional time, and a morning prayer to build your faith!

"In this verse we read a personal tribute and one I pray over each and every one of us today. God is my salvation. I will trust, and not be afraid, for the Lord God is MY strength and MY song. He has become my salvation.

We find rest in Him, we find love, strength, mercy, protection, healing in Him. May we trust and not be afraid."

Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Exodus 17:15 which says " Moses built an altar and called it The LORD is my Banner."
"When I think of Jehovah Nissi, I think of the parade of pots and pans. Imagine if an entire city took to the streets and made all of the noise possible to celebrate Jesus in their life.

It’s not socially acceptable, but man I wish it was. The lord is our banner. I wish we could all scream at the top of our lungs for anyone and everyone to hear. May everyone know what team we support. May everyone see the banner of Christ in our life and know that He has done a work in us and for us. May they see the fruit of our lives and know it was all because of Jesus.

I know we can’t all hit our posts and pans, but we can extend his love. We can wear him as a banner over our hearts and serve His people so they may know Him. :"

Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Genesis 17:1 which says " When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to him and said, “I am God Almighty ; walk before me faithfully and be blameless."
"Why do we say thank you, why do we smile when we get “bad news”, why do we shake off bad medical reports, why do we find joy in the little things? The answer is simple, we do not serve bad reports, or job rejections, we service El Shaddai - the Lord Almighty.

Hillsong has a song called Love so Great and the lyrics say “You are the lord almighty, out shinning all the stars in glory, your love is like the wildest ocean, oh nothing can compare.”

Yes, doctor reports can be scary, and yes after going through four rounds of interview only to hear you weren’t right for the job can be defeating, but nothing in this world can compare to the Lord we serve.

So let me remind you and really let me remind any circumstance, any mountain, any speed bump you are facing - we serve The Lord Almighty, meaning nothing can get in our way of gratitude, joy, and the love we share for Him and His creation."

Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Genesis 22:14 which says "So Abraham called that place The LORD Will Provide. And to this day it is said, “On the mountain of the LORD it will be provided.”

"In the King James Version we read:

And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen.
God is a provider. He will always provide. He is Jehovah Jireh. I am not sure what you need, but pray to your provider. He will give you the financial resource, the health, the job, the family, the breakthrough. He provides, all that we need. We are so blessed to have a father like Him."

14 God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ ”

15 God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The LORD, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’ “This is my name forever, the name you shall call me from generation to generation."

Who Could Stand Against? Jan 26, 2022

This is Episode 433 of the My Morning Devotional Podcast

Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Romans 8:31 which says " What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?"
"I know that in the moment it feels like you’ll be in the pain for ever. But in time, you will feel joy. I was driving down the highway reminiscing on my emotions. I was happy, a little bored, and not worried. It felt nice. I’ve been dealing with so much at home that now that things have calmed down I forgot what it felt like to be at peace.

I attribute this all to Him. He stood by my side through it all, and here I am on the other side of it and I can give God the glory.

He promises to give us strength to help us through valleys, He promises to give us peace, He promises to give us joy. We have to trust Him. We have to know that there is nothing, no momentary pain, no circumstance greater than He. We find true healing in Him."

Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Proverbs 3:3-4 which says "Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. 4 Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man."
"But this isn’t the kind of success the bible is promising us. It’s much deeper than that. It means we will have good success in the relationships that are built on love and faithfulness. It means that our businesses and employees will thrive if we build our legacy on love and faithfulness. It isn’t about the money, but it’s about the impact and they are two very different things.

My prayer today is simple. Let’s get it right. Let’s love and be faithful. Not because we want great success according to society, but we want great success in the impact we will leave on others..."
