Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Joshua 24:15 which says " And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."

"We can choose to bless our children and our children’s children if we choose to walk in the way of the Lord.

There are many little g gods that are flashy and cool. Social media, addictions, the media, politics. Anything can steal us from God these days. We just have to be firm in our since, that we as a people have decided the our homes will serve the Lord. "

Small Potatoes with Hope Reagan Harris May 04, 2022

Show notes

This is Episode 503 of the My Morning Devotional Podcast

Join me, Alison Elizabeth and Hope Reagan Harris as we read out of 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 which says “16-18 So we’re not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. There’s far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can’t see now will last forever."

Greater In Every Way Apr 26, 2022

Show notes

This is Episode 497 of the My Morning Devotional Podcast

Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of 1 Corinthians 1:25 which says "For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength."
"God is greater i every way, I will say it over and over again and I wouldn’t change that for the world. Truly understanding that my power comes from above makes life that much better. it’s not my job to protect, worry, provide, fight. It’s his job, he is our source of wisdom, he is our strength, he is the almighty that protects and provides.

He is greater than me in every way and I wouldn’t trade it for the world, because of that I need a savior and because of that I get to live life with my Jesus. the one who’s love knows no bound and I am forever grateful for it. "
