Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper and Richie Valens were headed to a concert at the Moorhead Armory, they never made it. Despite the tragedy of the plane crash, the show had to go on. Local bands Terry Lee and the Poor Boys, along with Bobby Vee, national star, Dion, and others took on the job of performing for a full house, despite the circumstances. Terry Lee, whose real name is Bobby Becker tells the story of being a performer that evening from his perspective on today's show.
