Episode 12: 2 Nephi 25-26 May 26, 2014

Show notes

Yet another Nephi sermon. In it we learn just how peaceful mormon god is, despite all the killing he did in the last episode. Oh, and also god gets a little less a racist, which is good, right?

Episode 11: 2 Nephi 20-24 May 22, 2014

Show notes

God is really pissed and so he decides to lay waste to just about everything in his path. Warning, this is a REALLY violent episode. God gets really creative about ways to slowly kill people. So, enjoy the gore!

Episode 10: 2 Nephi 16-19 May 19, 2014

Isaiah is still babbling on in this episode, but it gets pretty fun. We start out with Isaiah seeing mormon god in a wedding dress, at least I think that's what he's wearing, and then Isaiah getting hot coals dropped on his face. And we get introduced to my new favorite name, Maher-shalal-hash-baz. Oh, Isaiah, will you ever stop being hilarious?

I've been told that the so called Isaiah chapters are just too boring to read… well… CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! Personally, I think Isaiah is hilarious, I hope you agree! Don't forget the new game, you have to drink after every "It came to pass" and of course, "Yea"!

Episode 8: 2 Nephi 9-10 May 12, 2014

Show notes

This episode is dedicated to the great community at http://www.reddit.com/r/exmormon. You guys rock! Ok, in this episode we've got Jacob telling us about heaven (which isn't as cool as you might think) and hell (which is worse than we were previously led to believe), and a zombie apocalypse. Oh, and then he gives mormon god a strip show. Fun times!

If you thought you knew just how racist mormon god is… you just wait until you hear this one. Wow, just appalling! Anyway, the Nephi family drama goes into overdrive, as it looks like we've got ourselves a good ol' fashioned civil war on our hands.

Show notes

I'm not going to lie, this was a tough one. It starts with god (I think) telling everyone in Israel how screwed they are, and then just shifts to Lehi babbling endlessly on his deathbed. I hope I made it enjoyable in some way… but it wasn't easy.

My favorite one yet! If you suffered through the boredom of episode 4, then you've earned this. I'm not kidding when I say that this episode has magic brass balls, god ships, and a whole lot more crazy! Also, Nephi increases his godlike abilities to include controlling the weather and turning his skin into a deathtrap. Just fantastic!

Show notes

This is just a loooooooong Nephi dream. He dreams about his "seed" doing battle (and losing) in America, and we learn just how racist mormon god is. The good news is, the dream finally ends and we're right smack back in the middle of the old family drama.
