This is a marketing phrase that illustrates when a brand starts slapping their name on products that they are not originally known for creating. I myself have struggled with this issue with the Curtiss King brand. I have literally slapped my name on products since 2006 and sometimes it has worked out for and other times it hasn't. Today's episode will be my attempt at helping you avoid the same pitfalls and brand fatigue this has brought me.

Music Producers, while reading a book called The 5 Second Rule by Mel Robbins I came across a section that spoke powerfully on the topic validation. In it she speaks about how our need for others to co-sign or grant us permission to pursue our ideas is literally robbing the life out of our dreams. It's a passage that I wish I could send to every Producer that DM's me demanding me to listen to their music and validate they're on the right path.
