Both of us first got interested in true crime not through podcasts but through books — and one of the best true crime writers working today is Gregg Olsen. He has produced many terrific titles. The first of his books that Kevin read was STARVATION HEIGHTS, an incredible true story of medical murder that happened back in 1911.
We recently got a chance to talk with Gregg about his career, how he researches his books and his newest title: AMERICAN MOTHER, which tells the true story of a troubled family who is at the heart of a cyanide murder case. You can find it at Barnes and Noble, Amazon or wherever you buy books.

SPONSOR
So we’re thrilled about our next sponsor. Tanasi. This is a company that develops potent and pure products, from soft gels to gummies, all designed to help you relax. You see, a group of PhDs studying the hemp plant’s natural benefits found that two of the plant’s compounds - CBD and CBDa —were much more effective in decreasing inflammation, as well as twice as effective as CBD alone.
Tanasi’s robust line of products is the result of those findings. This CBD+CBDa is 2X better than CBD alone not to mention better than over the counter ibuprofen, acetaminophen and aspirin.
This patent-pending formula was developed by a team of chemists and biologists, and 5% of the product’s revenue goes back to Middle Tennessee State University where this all was developed. Tanasi is so sure that you’ll adore their products that they’ll give you a full refund for up to 30 days.
Go to TANASI.com and use code MSHEET to get 50% off at checkout. That’s T-A-N-A-S-I dot com, to get FIFTY PERCENT off for your first order with promo code MSHEET
