The Camm Family Murders: A Conversation with Investigator Gary Dunn on the Probable Cause Affidavit for the Arrest of David Camm Jan 23, 2024

On September 28, 2000, former Indiana State trooper David Camm returned to his Floyd County, Indiana home to find his wife and children murdered. After three trials and thirteen years in prison, he was acquitted. Camm's case remains known as one of the most egregious wrongful convictions in Indiana's recent history. So what did happen to the Camm family? Why did investigators hone in on Camm despite the fact a violent felon's DNA was found at the murder scene? What was the real story of all the blood evidence used to arrest and convict Camm?

Retired Federal Bureau of Investigation agent Gary Dunn was kind enough to share with us a copy of the probable cause affidavit in Camm's case. Dunn investigated Camm's case for the defense, and chronicled his experience in the book Their Bloody Lies and Persecution of David Camm: Part One. It's a great book that delves deeply into the crime. He is working on part two.

In this episode, we will go through the entire PCA with Gary, and he will explain the weaknesses and fabrications in the case.

The Delphi Murders: A Conversation with Leaders from the National Organization of Parents of Murdered Children Jan 16, 2024

Today, we'll be speaking with two members of a family no one wants to join. That found family is comprised of the members of the National Organization of Parents of Murdered Children and its local chapters. These members have each lost a child, sibling, relative, or even a friend to violence. Founded in Cincinnati, Ohio by Robert and Charlotte Hullinger after the murder of their daughter Lisa, this is an organization that seeks to unite and support those who have lost a loved one to homicide. Now, POMC advocates for victims' families and provides plenty of resources to help survivors.

Given the recent circumstances surrounding the Delphi murders case, we wished to interview guests who can speak to the heartbreak, pain, and frustration that comes with losing someone to homicide. We were fortunate enough to get to talk with POMC National Board of Trustees President Connie Sheely and Vice President Lori King. Both joined POMC after losing a sibling to violence.

They will share their thoughts on the leak of sensitive discovery documents and the ways the public, traditional media, new media, and parties in the case can behave with respect and sensitivity toward the victims families in this case.
