Ep6: Medicine and Motorcycles with Lisa Roling Mar 05, 2020

Show notes

If you ever wondered how to motorcycle travel while needing to carry temperature sensitive medication, such as insulin, Lisa has a solution that can keep you on the road for as long as you want without needing ice. Lisa is a 25 year nurse and a type 1 diabetic, and she's on the show to help anyone struggling to ride while needing medicine. Show notes

If you don't know anything about a camping quilt, well... we're here to over-educate you about why we both left sleeping bags to use quilts. We cover how down and synthetic works, pros/cons to both, the products we use, different companies with solid products to research, and what we hated about being strangled by a bag. Ep2: Moto Camping Pads and Avoiding Buttcrack Heat Rash Feb 27, 2020

Show notes

On this episode, we talk about camping pads (or mattresses) and crack a lot of bad jokes. We discuss what we use and what does/doesn't work for us along with the differences between manually inflating, self inflating, and foam. We also talk about the R value, what you need to think about when shopping for a pad, the pros/cons, and some of the various companies you can find gear from. Rest assure, it sounds boring but there's a lot of bad humor and giggling to ease the dryness of the subject.
