Finding out a person’s motive for murder can give us a small look into a killer psyche that we may have otherwise never seen. On November 30th 1962 a man was executed for his crime and, though he claims he revealed his motive, many remain uncertain as to why a boy they considered practically perfect suddenly exploded and killed 3 people he knew and loved dearly.

A Devious Serial Killer - November 28 2021 - Todays True Crime Nov 28, 2021

Show notes

November 27th: Barbara Precht Dies (2006)

There are approximately 40,000 unidentified descendants in the United States alone so, with that staggering number, any and all identifications seems like the victory you feel when you place that final piece in a long and complicated puzzle. However sometimes the identity of a Jane or John Doe can lead to more questions than it does answers. On November 27th 2006 a woman was pulled from the Ohio River and remained unidentified for almost a decade. A woman whose identification only brought more questions than it did answers.

November 26th: Gary Heidnik’s First Victim (1986)

Today’s story is a rough one. While it can be argued that all of these stories are horrific, this one, in my opinion, takes the cake. On November 26th 1986 a man abducted his first victim and, at the end of his hideous crimes, became the inspiration for a movie serial killer that haunts the memories of many individuals.

November 25th: Charles Heard Kills (2008)

You may never know what the catalyst for a crime really is. Sometimes it’s love, sometimes it’s hatred, and sometimes it’s revenge. But, not all cases are driven by emotion. On November 5th 2008 a man was killed outside a bar by a complete stranger who, when it was all said and done, simply wanted the necklace the victim was wearing around his neck.

A man who, like so many, was wrongfully convicted for a crime he did not commit.
