Harrison Burton emerged from the pack late in the last lap to win his first NASCAR Cup Series race. The win was the 100th for the legendary Wood Brothers. The win also locks Harrison Burton in the playoffs from 34th in the point standings.

Carson Macedo started 6th and was in the lead of the main event at halfway out of 40 laps. Macedo fought off Buddy Kofoid and heavy traffic to pick up win number 5 on the year over Kofoid and Sheldon Haudenschild. Donny Schatz picked off 6 cars to finish 5th.

Tyler Rabenberg led the back half of the Danny Schatz Memorial pocketing $1,515 in the process. Tom Cummings made RRVS History when he clinched the track championship at the age of 72. Becoming the oldest to do it.

Carson Macedo led every lap of 30 on Saturday Night’s Main event for his 6th win of the year over Sheldon Haudenschild and Buddy Kofoid. Donny Schatz suffered a right rear tire puncture but managed to recover for an 11th place finish. Felton, MN’s Andy Pake thrilled the local crowd by qualifying 2nd, winning heat 2, finishing 2nd in the dash, and mixing it up with the best in the business on the way to a 6th place finish.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 25TH: BUFFALO RIVER SPEEDWAY SEASON CHAMPIONSHIP NIGHT 2-GLYNDONKate Taves won in the Lightning Sprints. Then Cole Neset won in the Midwest Mods. Cole Greseth won in the Street Stocks. The Superior Customs Sprints were won by Laela Eisenschenk over her twin sister Amelia. Scott Jacobson won in the Sportmods with “The Crusher” Justin Jones winning the championship. Nathan Kohl took the Hobby Stock feature with Chase Peterson winning the championship. Then the Modifieds closed out the night with Allen Kent winning both the feature and track championship.

Easton Aukland won for the 7th time this year in the Rookie 1s. Corban Korynta won in the Novice 2s. Lincoln Korynta won in the Rookie 2s. Chase Kenyon won in the 206 Blues. Zayden Braaten won in the 206 Blacks. And Vince Noble won in the Adult Stocks.
