Tonight's Alaina Mini is a double feature! We discuss the horrific murders (two separate cases) of Sylvestre Diaz-Hernandez and Michelle O'Dowd. They are both tales of entitled jerks who killed hard working, kind people who unfortunately both welcomed their murderers into their homes. Buckle up, it's the holiday season and it is bleak.

Let's get completely out of any kind of holiday spirit by diving into a senseless and tragic murder of a family on Christmas Eve in 2008. Bruce Jeffrey Pardon was a true piece of human garbage and when he found himself divorced and unemployed, he took it out on those closest to him, in the most horrific way imaginable.
EDIT: I mistakenly referred to Pardo's ex wife as Delilah, when in fact her name is Delia.

This case is one that haunted me since I heard it in 2014. Jessica Chambers was a 19 year old, well liked girl from Courtland, Mississippi. When she was found with 98% of her body covered in burns, the mystery of her murder began. Today, her family and loved ones are still searching for some of the most important answers. Above all, who lit Jessica Chamber on fire? And why?

It's an Ash Mini Solo Morbid today! Due to some serious mom commitments, Alaina had to step away and it is an Ash's spooky time to shine as she covers the bizarre, sad and fascinating case of June and Jennifer Gibbons AKA The Silent Twins. This case begs the question: Do twins have some kind of deeper, more magical connection than any of us can comprehend? If so, when left unchecked, is it dangerous?
The New Yorker article Ash recommends for a deeper look into this case:

In today's Alaina Mini Morbid, we meet two young lovers who somehow managed to take the film Natural Born Killers as an instructional video. Erika and Benjamin are not your average couple killers, if only for the fact that they didn't have a motive for their crimes. Their only aim was the thrill of the kill. Cold-blooded doesn't even begin to describe these two lizard people.
