The Power of selfcare in motherhood and business with Cyndi Ramirez founder and CEO of Chillhouse Mar 10, 2022
    Show notes

Cyndi talks about her upbringing, born and raised in NYC; the daughter of an immigrant and single mother who was an aesthetician. This had a profound impact on her entrepreneurial journey from nightlife, to starting her popular blog " Taste the Style" and inspiration to create Chillhouse, a modern wellness brand with a flagship location in NYC that is now expanding into a global brand. Cyndi shares her perspective on motherhood, self care as a lifestyle, and growing an empire with her partner and entrepreneur husband.

Hitha is a consummate multi-hypenate - an entrepreneur, investor, writer, and speaker.

As CEO of Rhoshan Pharmaceuticals, she oversees financing, partnerships, and strategy for the company. She is currently raising the company's Series A round and developing the commercial strategy for their lead product, RHO-11.

A partner in Adama Ventures (her family office), she has invested in innovative companies primarily founded by women (MM.LaFleur, Girls' Night In, Brightland, and Heymama among them).

Hitha's longtime blog, Hitha On The Go, established her as an authority on lifestyle topics and gave way to her book (How To Pack: Travel Smart for Any Trip), collaborations with leading brands (Delta, Headspace, and Google), and a highly engaged Instagram following and newsletter. She curates the Webby-honored #5SmartReads every weekday and hosts a popular Ask-Me-Anything every week on her Instagram. Her podcast, 1 Smart Thing (#1smartpod), goes deeper on these topics twice a week.

She is a sought-after speaker on investing, entrepreneurship, work-life juggle, and motherhood. Hitha has spoken at WeWork, The Riveter Summit, Fohr, and Global Brands Group. She is represented by AllRaise's Visionary Voices speakers bureau.
